G Expedition is a perfectly sized and designed ship for exploring the Antarctic and Arctic regions. With space for just over 100 passengers and featuring spacious and warm public areas alongside excellent facilities and equipment, this is the best way to head out on an expedition cruise. Dining is included in your cruise fare, which means you can enjoy delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The main dining venue is the Albatross, where the comfortable setting and menus showcasing local flavours is the ideal place to fuel up ready for your shore excursions as you dine next to fellow cruisers.
As the polar regions are heavily focused on a high level of fitness, the G Expedition is equipped with a gym on the top deck for exercise onboard. In addition, to keep you warm and relaxed, a sauna can be found on deck 2 next to the mud room.
Inside the ship the main ports of call for relaxing and recreation are the Discovery Lounge and the Polar Bear Pub. The Discovery Lounge is the largest of the two and is comfortably furnished, while the Polar Bear Pub is excellent for a drink and social gatherings onboard. Guests can also find the Lonely Planet Library next to the Discovery Lounge, which provides a great selection of books to give insight on the region, while a gift shop lies opposite with souvenirs available to browse.
