Family
Norwegian Sky likes to ensure that each and every guest has the time of their life during the cruise, no matter their age. Your kids will have plenty of choices for fun with the Kids Crew program as the staff have tons of activities that will keep them entertained, meaning you'll have time for lounging at the pool or dancing at one of our ultra-chic parties. The Splash Academy, for 3-12 year olds, offers a host of activities, from arts and crafts to sports competitions, so the little ones can have fun and make friends at the same time.
However, holidays are also about spending time together as a family, which is why the Splashes Children Pool is so popular as everyone can enjoy the pool deck together. Alternatively, and often a hit amongst the older kids and parents alike, the video arcade has both retro and modern video games.
Things to do
Spa and Fitness
If you can’t indulge yourself when you’re on holiday, when can you? The spa onboard Norwegian Sky is perfect for some “me time”, where experienced professionals are waiting to pamper you. Choose from an extensive menu of treatments- including aromatherapy and massage- let those stresses evaporate in the sauna or book in at the salon and feel like a new you.
However, if your idea of relaxation is a good workout, Norwegian Sky also has this covered. Body Waves Fitness Centre is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, so what are you waiting for? Head over and get that blood pumping! Alternatively, if you like exercise, but don’t enjoy the gym, there are plenty of other options. With a multi-sports court and golf driving net, challenge others to a bit of friendly competition during your cruise.
Recreation
While the main draw of a cruise may be the amazing destinations you get to visit, this doesn’t mean that you won’t find lots of fun things to do on the ship. Many guests like to head straight to the pool area where they can cool off in the water or sip on a cocktail in one of the many sun loungers, admiring the stunning ocean views. This is always a popular spot on the ship, so you’re guaranteed to feel in amongst the buzz of cruise ship life.
However, if you’d like to escape the hustle and bustle for a while, there are lots of more peaceful spots to discover. The Mark Twain Library is a great place to go to get lost in a book for a few hours, or perhaps you’d rather spend some time browsing through the onboard shops to see if there are any duty-free treats that take your fancy.

Iglu Cruise customer reviews for Norwegian Sky
The crew were absolutely brilliant. We stayed in stateroom 0001A which was very good with the exception of the shower area which was very small. Would recommend to everyone.
We had 3 main reasons for choosing this itinerary: Azores, Madeira, Casablanca. Casablanca was great, we fully understand why the captain considered the Azores too risky in the weather conditions, but we were never told why Madeira was removed early on. Nevertheless, we did enjoy the itinerary and the ports we visited. There were many good points that we appreciated. The ship was clean and not too big. The entertainment was very good. The meals we had were good. Life on board, embarking/disembarking, and the excursions, were very well-organised. We did feel that independent travellers were not well-catered for in terms of information provided. It was difficult to plan ahead as information about ports/terminals, regarding distance and shuttle buses, etc was hard to find or only available last minute. Also we felt that $20 each for a shuttle bus where there was no practical alternative was unreasonable. We did miss not having port talks to give a heads-up on what to expect when going ashore. The App was useful, though not as versatile as some others we’ve used. The TV was quite limited, particularly as there was no means of jumping directly to find port information without watching an entire programme sequence, and there was no film/programme selection beyond what was currently broadcasting. Although the food was good we felt there was too little variety in both the buffet and main restaurant, especially with the starters and desserts. The food and service in the speciality restaurants were excellent. The general serving staff were all friendly and efficient, but we felt they seemed less relaxed than on other cruises, as though they were under pressure, perhaps from under-staffing or over-management. Not really sure why as they all seemed a nice bunch of people.
Food was not great. Ship a bit tired
The food was average, the menu was very repetetive, the entertainment onboard was terrible,on the plus side the bars were nice, the drinks were great on the drinks package ,the cabin was ok,the staff were all very nice. not very happy with iglu, they thought it was ok to take us to the airport 9 hrs before the flight,i rang them before the holiday to question this and the guy i spoke to couldnt understand why i had a problem with it.
