Family
Norwegian Sky likes to ensure that each and every guest has the time of their life during the cruise, no matter their age. Your kids will have plenty of choices for fun with the Kids Crew program as the staff have tons of activities that will keep them entertained, meaning you'll have time for lounging at the pool or dancing at one of our ultra-chic parties. The Splash Academy, for 3-12 year olds, offers a host of activities, from arts and crafts to sports competitions, so the little ones can have fun and make friends at the same time.
However, holidays are also about spending time together as a family, which is why the Splashes Children Pool is so popular as everyone can enjoy the pool deck together. Alternatively, and often a hit amongst the older kids and parents alike, the video arcade has both retro and modern video games.
Things to do
Spa and Fitness
If you can’t indulge yourself when you’re on holiday, when can you? The spa onboard Norwegian Sky is perfect for some “me time”, where experienced professionals are waiting to pamper you. Choose from an extensive menu of treatments- including aromatherapy and massage- let those stresses evaporate in the sauna or book in at the salon and feel like a new you.
However, if your idea of relaxation is a good workout, Norwegian Sky also has this covered. Body Waves Fitness Centre is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, so what are you waiting for? Head over and get that blood pumping! Alternatively, if you like exercise, but don’t enjoy the gym, there are plenty of other options. With a multi-sports court and golf driving net, challenge others to a bit of friendly competition during your cruise.
Recreation
While the main draw of a cruise may be the amazing destinations you get to visit, this doesn’t mean that you won’t find lots of fun things to do on the ship. Many guests like to head straight to the pool area where they can cool off in the water or sip on a cocktail in one of the many sun loungers, admiring the stunning ocean views. This is always a popular spot on the ship, so you’re guaranteed to feel in amongst the buzz of cruise ship life.
However, if you’d like to escape the hustle and bustle for a while, there are lots of more peaceful spots to discover. The Mark Twain Library is a great place to go to get lost in a book for a few hours, or perhaps you’d rather spend some time browsing through the onboard shops to see if there are any duty-free treats that take your fancy.

Customer reviews for Norwegian Sky
Bring a smaller older ship the stateroom was quite small . with limited storage space, however we soon got used to it and the very comfy bed soon made up for it and we both slept really well. We always used the Crossings for breakfast. the choice was limited but the food was nice and the staff we all lovely and friendly and we both enjoyed eating our breakfast there. We usually eat at the palace for our evening meal. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere nice food and again lovely staff. We used Cagneys three evenings The steak was really nice and nice and tasty and was always cooked to our liking. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and again really nice staff. If we did eat lunch we chose to eat at the the great outdoors. , as we found the self serve restaurant far to crowded and noisy for us. Great waiter service at the pool side bar. Lots of sun lounges. The officers that we spoke to genuinely seemed to care about customers . Greg our cabin boy was Great. cabin was always clean and tidy We only did one trip. Gran Canaria the Agate Valley & wine tasting this was excellent and really enjoyed it. Overall we had a lovely cruise. Very relaxing days at sea
Great time
The ship was lovely, the size was just right. Even with 3000 passengers on board, it did not feel crowded or too noisy. The buffet with its large outside eating area, was excellent, as were all the staff and crew we met. The evening entertainment was limited but we did enjoy the magician/comedian Steve Ashcroft. The cabins and balconies were rather small for two people. The 150 minute wifi was inadequate even for basic messaging and it was a nuisance trying to discover how many minutes one had left after each session. I eventually discovered that each session was rounded up, so minutes were lost inadvertently. The relationship between the app and the wifi was indecipherable. The TV information on the ship's course was interesting but a direct feed from the chart plotters on the bridge would have been more informative. We disagree strongly with the practice of taking $20 pp per day for tips, from guests, in addition to the considerable cost of the trip. We feel that staff should be paid adequately by their employer. Anything we give should be entirely voluntary, discreet and in excess of a fair, decent, living wage for these hard working people who are a long way from their homes and families.
Mainly good crew. Dropped turn down evening service. Food good, but sometimes slow service in restaurants. Not very effective with planning. Very small cabin. Shows good, but only three. Too many single acts and not so good
