The second of Norwegian Cruise Lines’ new ships is Norwegian Getaway, launched in 2014 and sister ship to Norwegian Breakaway. Norwegian Getaway has been designed to combine the innovations of Norwegian Epic, their largest ship, with the aesthetics and style of their popular Jewel class ships. At 144,017 tonnes, the ship carries approximately 4,000 passengers and offers a vast array of contemporary, comfortable staterooms.
The Norwegian Getaway boasts one of NCL's most exciting new innovations, The Haven. First seen onboard Norwegian Epic, The Haven offers a world of luxury and privacy, usually found on more intimate ships, onboard one of the world's largest new ships - the concept being to offer ship within a ship. The Haven is only available to guests booking into the luxury Haven suites and offers exquisite décor and personalised service, with a 24-hour butler service offered by certified butlers from the International Institute of Modern Butlers. The private pool will have its own valet service, there will be white tablecloth in-suite dining available and exclusive access to The Haven Courtyard with private pool, sundeck, hot tub and fitness area.
