Having originally launched back in 1999, one of Carnival
Cruise Line’s ships, Carnival Triumph re-emerged as a brand new, state of the
art vessel twenty years later. After undergoing a huge refurbishment, she now
sails as the fantastic Carnival Sunrise.
Carnival Sunrise boasts an abundance of onboard activities,
restaurants, and entertainment – in fact perhaps more than a cruiser might actually
be able to experience in just one holiday. This means that no choosey diners
will go unhappy, no fun-seekers will be left bored, and no one who wants to
simply relax and unwind will leave the ship feeling stressed.
There are almost twenty different places to eat onboard
Carnival Sunrise, so no matter what kind of food or atmosphere you’re looking
for, there will be something to suit. Those who prefer uncomplicated comfort
food, or have families with a range of tastes, might like to dine at the main restaurant – where you can choose
three courses from an a la carte menu, or the casual Lido buffet, where you’ll find dishes from all over the world that
you can help yourself to. Room Service
could also be a good option for you as it means you don’t need to change and
leave your cabin. Available 24-hours a day, choices on the menu are all
included in your cruise fare.
Guests celebrating a special occasion, or would simply like
to get gussied up and make the most of a special evening onboard, have plenty
of wonderful eateries to choose from. Why not opt for a perfect cut in the Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, or enjoy
some exquisitely prepared Italian dishes in Cucina del Capitano? Or if you prefer Asian food choose from Bonsai Sushi for freshly made Japanese
cuisine, and Chopsticks for some
delicious Chinese. The Chef’s Table
is another popular option, as it offers some incredible culinary creations
designed by skilled chefs, and served to an intimate group of around 14 guests.
For something in between these styles of dining, there are
more options yet. Carnivores should try Guy’s
Burger Joint or Pig & Anchor BBQ
for simple but fantastic meat dishes, pizza lovers will adore Pizzeria del Capitano, find all your
favourite Mexican dishes at BlueIguana
Cantina, and New England-style eats at the Seafood Shack. Not forgetting dessert of course; head to Swirls whenever you have room for some
creamy soft-serve ice cream, at any time of day.
From intimate and atmospheric bars to full-blown theatrical productions, each night onboard could hold something completely different in store.

As well as taking care of your body, be sure to look after
your mind with some undoubtedly well-deserved ‘me-time’. The Cloud 9 Spa offers a tranquil space to
relax in, as well as a menu of treatments to choose from such as massages, facials,
and even acupuncture. Additionally, skilled professionals at the Hair and Beauty Salon are on hand if
you feel like a little pampering is in order. There is also the Serenity Adult-Only Retreat; a
child-free zone where guests can escape the bustle of the rest of the ship and
thoroughly unwind.
