Norwegian Encore boasts an excellent range of dining options, from the wealth of choice in the main restaurants, to more unique menus in the speciality restaurants. Whether you are cruising on your own, with a partner or as a family, dinner can be as casual or as sophisticated as you like. The ship sees popular Norwegian Cruise Line restaurants such as the delicious pub grub at The Local and classic comfort foods at American Diner return side by side with the brand-new Onda by Scarpetta where diners have their pick of deliciously authentic Italian dishes. Whatever your tastes may be, there will be a restaurant where you leave wanting seconds even when you’re stuffed!
Taking the onboard dining experience to a new level, you’ll be blown away by the views on The Waterfront, a quarter-mile promenade that wraps around the ship. When eating at some of the ship’s signature venues such as Ocean Blue and Cagney’s Steakhouse, diners can gaze out across the ocean.

Daytime onboard Norwegian Encore may well be packed with activities, but that is by no means to say that evenings on the ship are any less exciting. Take the opportunity to dress-up and enjoy award-winning Broadway shows Kinky Boots, The Choir of Man and Happy Hour Prohibition: The Musical. Alternatively, begin your evening by watching two hilarious stand-up comedians, followed by a night of cutting shapes on the dance floor, or if you’re looking for a more relaxed way to spend the night, grab a seat and watch a Beatles cover band at the famous Liverpool bar The Cavern Club. However, if none of this entertainment takes your fancy, why not simply kick back at one of Norwegian’s many bars? From the bar top poker screens and cocktails at Skyline Casino Bar, to the extensive drinks menu at The District Brew House and delicious wines at The Cellars, there’s a perfect evening haunt for every guest.
Even the youngest guests will be delighted by the onboard facilities. For parents and babies, Guppies hosts toy time and sensory play, and Splash Academy offers complimentary sports competitions and creative play for kids. Meanwhile, the supervised Group Sitting on port days means that you can finally have that long-awaited date night. Norwegian hasn’t forgotten about the teenagers onboard either, with them able to retreat to Entourage to escape their parents and hangout with others their age.
Onboard Norwegian Encore guests will find some of the most exciting and innovative activities available on a cruise ship. Start off at Speedway, a unique opportunity to race around the top deck of a ship in Go Karts while floating in the middle of the ocean. Carry on to the resurrected Lost City of Atlantis, where laser tag and augmented reality come together to create an adrenaline-pumping immersive experience. The virtual reality doesn’t stop here as a visit to Galaxy Pavilion is rewarded with exhilarating simulator rides. The fun continues with the multi-storey waterslides at the Aqua Park too, while for a bit of downtime, the main pool is the place to go to soak up the sun and take a refreshing dip.
A holiday is for rest and relaxation, and what better place to do so than in Norwegian Encore’s onboard spa. A steam in the Thermal Suite, a dip in the Vitality Pool or a hot-stone massage are an unbeatable way of making sure that you leave the ship feeling pampered and revitalised.
If you’d like to stay fit during your cruise, or would like to try a new sport, then head to the ultra-modern fitness centre where you can work up a sweat with a high-intensity cycling class or slow the pace down with Pilates, yoga and guided meditation classes.
