This was our 4th cruise to Norway and it was lovely. It was the first time we had a 'scenic cruising' day too, which was an excellent experience, as normally you travel through the fjords at night & just wake up in port. There was an expert onboard who narrated most of the journey too, which made it really interesting The Sky Princess is really easy to get around, with a lot going on but the thing we like about Princess is that you can do as much or as little as you want, and either way you'll have a great cruise If you go on the Sky you have to check out the Rock Opera in the theatre, as that's really good, but it is loud for those with sensitive ears We only ever eat at the Buffet and the selection is always good and tastes great, altho on Sea Days it gets really busy, so plan your times well There are still hand washing stations at either end of the buffet and everyone is encouraged to use them, altho sadly many don't. The ship itself is clearly cleaned overnight because it always looks & feels clean to the touch As far as rooms go, avoid lower levels at the back, as you'll feel the engines. And avoid the higher levels under the pool area otherwise you'll hear them moving the loungers around in the early hours Loved our cruise on the Sky Princess, but then we always do. Norway is an absolutely gorgeous country to visit
We had a wonderful cruise and truly enjoyed every moment of it. The itinerary was beautiful, the scenery in Norway was absolutely stunning, and the ship was very comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional throughout the trip. Everything was well organised, and we especially appreciated the relaxed atmosphere on board. We would definitely cruise with Princess again!
