Your Booking

Your Booking Acknowledgement is issued by Iglu.com Ltd. who acts as a retail agent on behalf of the supplier with whom your booking has been made. Your reservation is subject to the supplier’s terms and conditions, and you are bound by these conditions. All details are subject to confirmation by the supplier.

Balances of Payments Due

In order to simplify matters for our customers, we require all balances to be paid at least 13 weeks prior to travel. This is because some cruise lines require the final balance this far in advance, while others require it closer to the date of travel.

This gives us an appropriate amount of time to ensure that we have collected the full balance owed to pass to the cruise line when they require it.

Please remember that balances must be paid to Iglu.com and not the cruise line directly.

Your balance due date will be confirmed on your booking acknowledgement. With World Voyages or Sectors thereof, monies will be required no later than 16 weeks in advance.

 

Cabins booked on a ‘Guarantee’ basis.

Many cruise companies, such as P&O Cruises, offer a discounted rate for cabins booked on a ‘Guarantee’ basis. This means that the cruise line will allocate your cabin number either close to the date of the sailing or on the day itself. You will be guaranteed a minimum standard of cabin (indicated by the cabin grade), but you will not have any further say in your cabin allocation. We are not able to accept any special requests regarding the position of the cabin, cabin facilities or bed configuration. If you are travelling with others, there is no guarantee that cabins will be located close together or will be of the same grade.

 

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your cruise please submit a Booking Amendment Form on our Customer Portal. We will be in contact with you to confirm the cost of cancellation as per the appropriate Booking Terms and Conditions (see your Booking Confirmation for links to these). Cancellation charges will depend on what type of fare code you have booked under, on the terms and conditions of the confirmed package as well as how many days before the departure date you wish to cancel your booking. Usually, if you cancel your holiday before your final due date, a loss of deposit will incur. Cancellation charges after your final due date will incrementally increase as the departure date approaches. Please check the terms and conditions attached to your booking confirmation.

If your sailing has not been cancelled by the cruise line and you cancel your booking as per standard terms and conditions, we will retain the agency deposit (or £25pp cancellation fee if applicable).

If the cruise line has cancelled the sailing and you were offered a full refund or FCC by the cruise line, the agency deposit/£25pp is not applicable. Also, if you cancel your current reservation and rebook/transfer to a later date, we would not apply our cancellation fee for the original booking. Any discounts offered by Iglu.com will be removed upon cancellation and will not be taken into account when calculating your cancellation fee.

 

Amendments and administration fees

Where amendments to your booking are permitted by your supplier, Iglu.com reserve the right to charge a £25.00 fee per person, per amendment on top of any charges levied by the supplier.
