Carnival Freedom

Freedom to have fun is the name of the game when it comes to a cruise on Carnival Freedom. The abundance of duty-free shops, delicious dining options, bars, clubs, onboard activities and the addition of the Carnival Seaside Theatre- a 12-foot-high by 22-foot-wide LED screen located poolside on Carnival Freedom’s Lido deck showing movies, sporting events, concerts, and various other programming- make this Carnival ship as much of an attraction as the destinations themselves.

Bars and lounges aren’t the only places to spend your evenings onboard the ship. The variety of live entertainment venues means that there are shows for all the family. Head to the Punchliner Comedy Club for family-friendly or adult-only standup shows, or marvel at a Playlist Production at the Victoriana Show Lounge. If you’re not ready for your night to end early, the Babylon Casino guarantees a lively crowd, while the 70s Night Club invites guests to get their dancing shoes on and boogie away into the early hours.

A Carnival cruise isn’t just about the wonderful destinations you can visit- Carnival also want guests to have just as memorable experience as they travel on the ship. Whether you choose to hangout and enjoy the fun amongst the crowds on the decks or head inside for a more leisurely few hours, you’ll find that time flies during your cruise.

Outdoors

A highlight of Carnival Freedom’s deck space is the spiraling waterslide where guests can splash into the large pool. There are also ping pong tables, a multi-sports pitch and a mini-golf course which all provide some friendly competition. However, if you’d rather slip in a few hours of relaxation, there are plenty of sun loungers and even a 21-and-older sun deck where the atmosphere is much more peaceful than the busier parts of the ship.

Indoors

The atrium is the hub of activity inside the ship and it’s here guests can find the Monticello Library and card room where regular board game sessions and trivia competitions are held. Duty-free shopping is also a popular activity on the ship and with shops selling souvenirs, watches and jewellery, as well as any everyday necessities you may have forgotten, chances are you won’t come out empty handed.

Spa and fitness

Carnival prides itself on its spa facilities. Offering the standard range of treatments- from facials to massages and scrubs- there are also collagen treatments and acupuncture, as well as a trendy salon where guests can have a makeover from head to toe.

For those guests who like to stay in shape, there is a fully-equipped gym which holds daily exercise classes, as well as a jogging track. With so many facilities, there’s no reason to miss out on your workout just because you’re on holiday!
