Iglu Cruise customer reviews for Marella Voyager
My third trip on the Voyager Ship, love it!! The staff are just excellent, they can’t do enough for you, be that making your room, bars and restaurants. The entertainment and variety is fab, the stop offs across Greece were amazing and I was lucky enough for a week 2 stay in a lovely hotel in Corfu. Highly recommended by me!!
From start to finish the cruise was extremely well organised and communicated. We were on the boat in 1:15hr after landing at Corfu although I think Greece has suspended the EES process which helped. The Captain and Ents Director gave a personal message each day which shows some thought towards the passengers. I have been on one Marella cruise before so I was aware it is aimed at the British market and so food and drink menus are angled that way. The bars are plentiful, the draft beer was limited to one type but there were other premium brands in cans and bottles. However it was all lager unless you take the premium drinks package. The cocktails were ok but low on alcohol, spirits were strong. We thought the food offering was excellent for mass catering. Plenty of choices and available most of the day. The Main Dining Room presented waiter service with plenty of menu options and generally speedy service given then numbers dining. There is no booking system, you just turn up. The buffet provided some excellent currys, no doubt inspired by the Indian chefs. There was entertainment for all tastes throughout the day, I enjoyed the fantastic shows and loved the theatre experience and the 45 minutes of song and dance by the resident show people. They really put energy into their performances. Small attention to detail, such as providing a selection of drinks when entering the theatre and greeting the audience at the end of the show, was well appreciated. There is live music to suit all taste in the bars. The cabins are fine, with plenty of room for storage, a 2pin and a 3pin plug, a comfortable bed, and cleaned daily if you wish. The staff were without exception polite and helpful. The ship Marella Voyager is kept ship shape with external painters and cleaners at work at almost every port. Inside it was in good condition having had a refit in 2023. Overall, I very much enjoyed this voyage which went around the Greek islands from Corfu.
What a fantastic ship, the cabin was spacious, the shower one of the largest I’ve ever seen on a cruise ship. The entertainment excellent, the cinema and games room gave our grandkids a great source of extra entertainment too. There was a wide range of food, all good quality, fantastic staff and best of all the itinerary was brilliant
A wonderful 2 week cruise around Croatia Montenegro Dubrovnik then onto the Greek islands. . . living the dream. . . We were travelling with my Dad nearly 80 and sons age 18 & 14. The ship was absolutely fantastic, the selection of bars and restaurants was outstanding and the food was superb. The cabin stewards were AMAZING we were greeted by name every morning and evening making us feel so welcome and at home - thank you so much Ba, Melanie & Edna you looked after us all so well. A special mention to the wonderful Jelly, who greeted us in the latitude restaurant and was so lovely & welcoming every time we dined there. Overall we were so very impressed with every single aspect of this ship and cruise and will watch where the Voyager is travelling to next book our next adventure x
