As with all Princess Cruises ships, you can choose from traditional fixed dining or 'anytime dining' when you book your holiday - meaning you can dine however you’d like to. With fantastic speciality restaurants onboard, the choice is superb.
Why not pop into the Sterling Steakhouse one night for filet mignon or lobster, or head to the romantic, yet vibrant, Sabitini's Italian Trattoria? During the day try out the International Cafe in the atrium, or enjoy the superb views from Horizon court as you fill up on the delicious fare available.
With so much choice there is something for everyone and every occasion:
The entertainment onboard Ruby Princess is as good as you will find on any cruise ship. Head to the Vista Lounge for comedy nights and guest speakers or the Princess Theatre for one of the Broadway-inspired shows.
Enjoy fabulous events such as the Captain's cocktail party, and take in the demonstrations of the ships chef, ice carvers, and flair bartenders. The lounges and bars onboard offer everything from fabulous cocktails, to sports bars and live music.
Whatever your mood, there is always something happening onboard:
Ruby Princess features an outstanding array of leisure facilities, including the Asian inspired Lotus Spa and a spectacular, fully-loaded ocean-view fitness centre.
Onboard Ruby Princess you’ll never have to worry about being bored. If sitting by the pool, heading to the spa, or catching a show doesn't take your mood, then why not try out the golf simulator and putting course or take a trip to the art gallery? If you’d like a bit of quiet time, the tranquil haven of the library is the best place to escape the crowds and get lost in a good book.
Before you leave, have a wander through the onboard shops, stocking everything from the basics to designer labels and high-end perfumes. With duty-free prices, it would be a shame to miss out!
Ruby Princess’s dress code offers you both informal, relaxed evenings and the popular, but less frequent, formal nights. Formal nights are often the highlight of the week with gentlemen donning black tie, and ladies slipping into their favourite elegant dresses. Informal nights onboard have a smart casual dress code, with sport jackets and blazers expected for gents.
Alternatively, if you don't fancy dressing for dinner, or you are tired after a day of shore excursions, you can head to the buffet restaurant, where casual attire is always suitable.
Ship good with well sized balcony rooms with plenty of storage space. Food good.
This ship is fantastic we have been on this ship twice and I would definitely recommend it - the cabins, food and shows are Brilliant
Excellent service on board. Food was of a good quality and plentiful. Although a lot of people on board the ship it never felt busy. Some of the decor looking a little tired and out of date now. The Horizon Court a little motorway caféesque with plastic cups etc but plenty of other venues to choose from. Ship very clean but a lot of passengers had coughs which was off putting - perhaps something should have been said/done to prevent the spread especially whilst in confined areas eg coach trips, lifts and also whilst dining.
Great ship with lots of super bars and restaurants. Staff were brilliant and everything was extremely well organised. Only downside was a lack of top class entertainment. Theatre productions were sadly missing on this ship.
