What's onboard
Dining
Dining aboard Wind Spirit is unique, casually elegant and all-inclusive; due to its small size, there are only two dining venues available onboard: the Amphora Restaurant and the Candles Restaurant – the latter actually a merging of Windstar’s Candles Restaurant and the Veranda buffet-style dining venue.
- Amphora Restaurant - here, you’ll find gourmet course-by-course meals available every evening and an open-seating policy keeping the lightly formal atmosphere relaxed and welcoming
- Veranda and Candles Restaurant - in this venue, you’ll find full-service and buffet-style food available throughout the day, with al fresco seating making this the perfect place to grab a bite to eat when the sun is shining
With so few guests onboard, you’ll find the expert team of dedicated chefs are able to make sure each dish is made exactly to your tastes; and, if you want to have a bite to eat in your stateroom, you’ll still be able to enjoy Windstar’s 24-hour room service – despite this ship’s intimate size.
Entertainment
When the sun starts to set on Wind Spirit, or during one of the very few sea days these port-intensive itineraries afford, you’ll find yourself with the perfect place to sit back and relax with a refreshment in one of three venues: the Lounge, the Yacht Club Cafe, and the Pool Bar.
With house musicians in the Lounge, and nightly port talks to tune into, this comfortable venue is the heart of Wind Spirit in many ways. However, the Pool Bar – as the name suggests – is a fantastic spot for a colourful cocktail poolside on the top deck. The Yacht Club Cafe is another casual venue to spend your time in, with light bites and drinks available throughout the day too.
Things to do
Much like the entertainment offerings, there’s a moderate selection of activities aboard Wind Spirit. If you’re looking to pamper yourself, you can find a selection of rejuvenating spa treatments in the World Spa by Windstar – or, of course, you can always spend some time soaking in the pool and hot tub on the top deck.
Wind Spirit is also home to a well-equipped Fitness Centre, if you’re looking to work up a sweat while at sea and maintain a fitness routine during your getaway. However, as relaxing as the onboard library is, the real highlight of this small ship is the Watersports Platform; available in select ports on your itinerary, you’ll have access to kayaks, paddle-boards, snorkelling equipment, and more here.
