Second time on Koningsdam no complaints. Lovely ship looking a bit tired in places but going in to dry dock soon so hopefully she will get a spruce up. We had the have it all package, so no huge bill at the end of the cruise. Great selection of restaurants on board and the food in the main dining room was excellent. The staff cannot do enough for you they are very attentive, polite and soon remember what your drink order is. Entertainment in the evening there is so much choice. Our favourite was Billboard the two lads playing pianos and singing where amazing. Booked a package through Iglu, everything went smoothly no complaints
Good cruise
Lovely ship. Excellent staff and service Superb BB kings and other great musicians singers and comedians. Great choice of food and Food choice of specially restaurants The only thing I was disappointed about was the return flight time we left the ship about 8 45am and did not fly until 1040pm so a long time was spent hanging around at the airport Why we couldn’t have had an early flight I don’t know as it was a very long day. However Air France via Paris to Manchester were very good
We’ve sailed several times with Holland America and we’ve never been disappointed. MS Koningsdam was the biggest ship so far. Embarkation in Miami went smoothly, no delays. Our cabin was conveniently located on deck 1 aft. Sufficient space and storage in the cabin for two people. Decor throughout the ship was a good standard and well maintained by the crew. Food in the restaurants was very good; particularly enjoyed the dining experience in the Tamarind and Rudi’s speciality restaurants. It was a bonus to have the BB Kings Blues Club AND the Rolling Stones Club. Two excellent live bands performing almost every night to a packed audience and a full dance floor! Frankie, Noelle and the BB Kings’ Blues Band were awesome. We book HAL cruises mainly for the BB Kings Blues Club entertainment. Very talented musicians.
