Along with the Le Champlain, the Le Laperouse debuts in 2018 as a member of the Explorer ship series, Ponant
's newest step towards a more spectacular and refined Expedition experience.
Modern, luxurious and innovative, the Le Laperouse has new features such as the sun deck area with Infinity Pool outside the Main Lounge, and the three-form Marina designed for a variety of watersports and activities including easy Zodiac use, kayaking and paddle-boarding.
Smaller than the sisterships, the Le Laperouse has only 92 staterooms onboard which includes a large number of spacious suites. Every guest onboard will enjoy their own private balcony from between 43 to 323 sq. ft.
On deck 4, you'll find the Le Laperouse's main restaurant which boasts panoramic views and an all-new buffet of salads, desserts and cheeses. For a more casual and intimate dining experience, Deck 3 has a 70-guest area which served grilled meats, salads, desserts and more.
As a luxury cruise ship, it is essential that guests can feel relaxed, pampered and looked after onboard. Whether you're in need of a relaxing treatment, new style or to have exercise, the Le Laperouse's spa, fitness room and hair salon is available to use.
Take advantage of the Le Laperouse's innovative new feature, the three-form Marina. Transforming between three different layouts, the marina allows guests to experience a range of water sports and activities, as well as easier access to the Zodiac for expeditions.
Passengers can also experience marine life in an exciting and distinct way by spending time in the Blue Eye room. This is an underwater lounge located in the ship's hull, in which it is possible to see, hear, and feel the movements of creatures within a range of five kilometres.
If you choose to stay onboard, there is an Infinity Pool on the aft pool deck which is installed with a counter-current swimming system. You can also simply relax in the outdoor lounge or solarium also located on the pool deck.
