Sister ship to the stunning MSC Grandiosa, MSC Virtuosa is the second of the cruise line's Meraviglia Plus Class ships. Gracing seas in 2020, she has been designed with the latest eco-friendly developments meaning she will emit less carbon dioxide than the rest of the fleet. In addition, the ship offers some exciting modern technology in the form of ZOE, the in-cabin, voice-activated personal assistant. Cruisers can ask ZOE almost anything about their cruise, by simply beginning a question with 'OK Zoe'.

MSC Cruises are committed to offering guests fine Mediterranean hospitality, while at the same time keeping up with the latest in modern conveniences. Onboard MSC Virtuosa, guests will also benefit from innovative MSC for Me wristband technology; the subtle accessory offers helpful services to make cruising that little bit simpler, such as access to cabins, easy onboard purchases, and securing dinner reservations.

At just over 1000 feet in length, MSC Grandiosa accommodates almost 6,000 guests, in a total of 2,240 cabins.

Cuisine and Dining on MSC Virtuosa

This award-winning Italian cruise line rightly prides itself on fantastic personal service; a quality that really shines when it comes to the dining experience onboard. Whether guests opt for a traditional multi-course meal in the main dining room, a variety of choices in the casual buffet restaurant, or something a little more unique in a speciality restaurant, the service received will be second to none.

All palettes will be catered for onboard MSC Virtuosa, with a wide variety of cuisine available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Entertainment on MSC Virtuosa

Keeping guests entertained is one of the priorities of this family-friendly cruise line, and passengers of all ages will happily find plenty to do when onboard.

MSC Cruises have collaborated with the world-famous company of acrobats, Cirque du Soleil. These skilled performers have created two bespoke productions just for MSC Cruises, so guests can watch in awe as they defy gravity and reveal incredible strength.

As well as this guests will find different live performances in various onboard venues, particularly in the TV Studio & Bar. This multi-purpose room is home to a TV studio which hosts live games, quizzes, and talent contests, and there is also plenty of space for other entertainment including comedy acts, live music, and karaoke.

Spa & Fitness on MSC Virtuosa

MSC Virtuosa has a well-positioned gym, which boasts a range of state-of-the-art fitness equipment as well as an outstanding sea view. Other ways to stay active of course include use of the spacious pool and the Sportsplex where you can get the blood pumping with a game or two.

Those looking to relax and unwind onboard will also love the MSC Aurea Spa. The tranquil space offers a chance to escape the bustling ship, and simply sit back or even indulge in a treatment.

Recreation on MSC Virtuosa

The welcoming ship has plenty of nooks and crannies which are full of surprises to keep guests amused.

The main indoor promenade has a fantastic digital sky ceiling, which creates an airy and comfortable ambience. Here you'll find a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, and places where you can stop and relax for a while. In the evenings this area comes alive with live music and other entertainment and becomes a social hub akin to a street party. The Sportplex also transforms in the evening, offering another roomy venue for dancing and parties, plus there's the onboard nightclub - Attic Club.

For a calmer few hours, guests can browse through thought-provoking pieces at the first contemporary art gallery at sea, or get lost in a book with a coffee or cocktail in one of the cosy lounges.

Of course, many cruisers seek to spend much of their time relaxing by the pool, and taking the odd dip as and when they want to cool down. The main pool onboard MSC Virtuosa is surrounded by plenty of loungers and is also complemented by a big screen which shows classic movies as well as the latest blockbusters. Plus, as well as the pool, the ship also has a fantastic outdoor waterpark! Complete with a range of pools and slides, this attraction is great for kids both old and young!

What our customers say

"I booked a Fred Olsen cruise with IGLU last month and was so impressed by the service I received. The staff member I spoke to was Kimberley and she was exemplary. Capable, kind, professional, patient, friendly and knowledgeable. She went through every step of the way calmly and thoroughly. IGLU were recommended to me by friends and I have no hesitation in passing the recommendation along. Well done IGLU and thank you. "

"So easy to deal with, I studied the Cruise I wanted, did my research with different company's and returned to Iglu. I had three quotes matching Iglu’s cost, but with one phone call they beat the price themselves by £40 without me even asking, how easy was that! "
