First class staff
My wife and I have been on several MSC ships and found them to be overcrowded and noisy but our last three voyages have been in Yacht Club, what a difference, the food, service, space, cabins etc, are excellent, unfortunately this comes at a price, three times what you would normally pay for a standard cabin, so if our budget at the time won’t stretch to Yacht Club we opt for other cruise lines like Princes or Celebrity.
The ship was really nice with lots of nice bars, there wasn’t enough staff to cover the amount of passengers on board. This caused some staff to be impatient and even rude on occasions We have never cruised with msc before and probably won’t ever again. The passengers are predominately Italian with big groups which were very loud and often intimidating. The food in the main dining room was of a low standard and very little choice. We did enjoy the speciality dining at an extra cost. There was very little atmosphere I think partly due to the on & off every day embarkation system which we found very annoying with muster announcements regularly and in various languages repeated often I think msc need to look at there staff shortage to improve all services.
Great cruise especially with the Yacht Club experience absolutely 1st class experience drinks,food and service everything you would want. A special mention for the Butlers and Concierge took care of all our needs.
