Each Marella ship has at least three restaurants which mean that guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to mealtimes. Whether you want to go on a culinary journey around the world thanks to the various international food stations or would prefer to sit down and enjoy multi-course gourmet dishes brought to you by some of the most welcoming and attentive staff at sea, there's an eating venue onboard that's bound to leave your mouth watering. In addition, if you find yourself feeling peckish between meals, there's no need to worry about going hungry as there are snacks available all day long.
While the main restaurants are included in your fare, for those wanting to splash out a little and enjoy a more intimate dinner time, each ship has a speciality restaurant where experienced and passionate chefs are ready and waiting to delight you with their incredible dishes.
Marella Cruises want to make sure that every cruiser can enjoy their onboard food, which is why they are happy to cater to special diets. Simply inform them of your requirements when you book and their chefs will be happy to adapt their dishes to meet your needs.
Each evening features first-class entertainment with shows, singers and comedians, as well as a range of different bars and lounges where you can relax and make the most of your Marella cruise. From feather-plumed dancers one evening to a Queen tribute act or West End-style musical the next, no night on a Marella Cruise will be the same as the last. Alternatively, cabaret shows and live music pop up across the night, making your cruise experience that little bit more unique.
However, if you're not looking for something quite so lively, there are plenty of cosy bars and lounges serving some of the best beers, wines, spirits and cocktails at sea. There's even an onboard casino for anyone whose holiday has got them feeling lucky enough to try hitting the jackpot on the slot machines or games tables.
In addition, by pre-booking the Marella Cruises premium all-inclusive drinks package, you can also make your holiday stress free with no bar bill as part of a Marella Cruises all inclusive holiday.
Marella Cruises are great for the whole family with daytime entertainment, a selection of different activities and children's clubs onboard plus specially chosen children's menus for junior diners and interconnecting staterooms to make nights that little bit easier.
Thanks to the accredited staff at the Marella Cruises' Kids Clubs, even the youngest guests will be spoilt for things to do. Ranging from arts and crafts to movie nights and meet and greets with the captain, it's bound to be a holiday to remember. There's even the chance to have your kids taken to breakfast a couple of times during your cruise, meaning that parents can finally enjoy that long awaited lie in.
While all of the fleet are great for family-friendly cruises, Marella Discover, Marella Discovery 2 and Marella Explorer really stand out. As well as the kids clubs, there are teen-only spaces where young adults can escape their parents, while the minigolf course and climbing wall (only available on Discovery ships) are guaranteed to bring everyone back together again.
Luckily, dining can be as laid-back and relaxed as you need it to be. Thanks to the huge choice of dishes at the buffet restaurants, including pizza and pasta, always a hit with the little ones, mealtimes with Marella Cruises will be as stress free as you can imagine.

A cruise onboard a Marella ship is all about having fun, which means that there are a whole host of activities to enjoy when you're not off exploring the amazing destinations.
For sports lovers, there's plenty of opportunity to get active (and even a little competitive) on the sports deck. Here, staff put on table tennis and basketball classes, as well as fitness classes such as yoga and zumba for those who don't feel like going head to head with other guests. There's even a gym for the real fitness enthusiasts out there who don't want to skip a workout when they're at sea.
If you're all about learning something new, even when you're on holiday, this is the perfect cruise line. Featuring dance classes, talks by experts, wine tasting sessions, cocktail making workshops and towel folding classes, you'll leave your cruise armed with new skills that you can show off to your friends and family once you're back on dry land.
For something a little quieter and laid back, head to the pool where you're welcome to take a dip in the refreshing water, although nobody will judge you if you decide you'd rather just lay back on a sun lounger and watch the world go by with a cocktail in hand.
Thanks to the all-inclusive nature of a Marella cruise, tips and service charges are all included in your fare, meaning that you don't have to worry about any additional costs.
Marella Cruises dress code can be divided into Beachwear, Casual and Smart, while Gala Evenings, formal nights and Dress to Impress Events are a chance to get suited and booted. Dress codes can differ between restaurants and time of day, but Marella will always keep you updated.

The captain was great and informed us everyday. The ship is getting tired but was cleaned very well. the smoking areas need to be looked at too.
