What's onboard

Dining

When it comes to dining aboard Le Lyrial, you can expect to be wowed by incredible meals and flavourful food from two restaurants – each one offering a distinct dining experience for you to enjoy. In Le Celeste, an elegant gastronomic restaurant onboard, you’ll find fine French cuisine and international menu items available in a sophisticated setting throughout breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meanwhile, La Comete presents you with a more relaxed environment to enjoy the food aboard Le Lyrial; here, you’ll find breakfasts, buffer lunches, and themed dinners available alongside stunning sea views.

Entertainment

Given the smaller size of this elegant Ponant vessel, Le Lyrial boasts an impressive selection of entertainment venues; you’ll find a programme of live musical entertainment in the main lounge, and further live entertainment available on select evenings in the panoramic lounge on the upper deck – alongside sensational sea views from large windows, which are far from a bad thing to enjoy while relaxing with some refreshments. Beyond this, you’ll also find a full programme of entertainment available in the theatre, a multi-purpose auditorium that hosts musical performances, informative lectures, and more.

There’s also an outdoor bar overlooking the pool area, if you’re looking for somewhere to soak up the sunshine with something sweet; so, however you want to keep yourself entertained on Le Lyrial, you’ll find something interesting to enjoy.

Family

While Le Lyrial and Ponant’s voyages aboard this ship are aimed primarily at adults, you’re going to find some family-friendly entertainment and age-appropriate activities onboard; so, children will be well-entertained while sailing.

However, there are some age limitations to keep in mind. Children ages 1 year and older can embark on a Ponant cruise, but children must be at least 4 years old to join the Kid’s Club – when this service is offered – and there is a limit of five children between 1 and 6 years old onboard at any one time.

Things to do

The destinations are always the star of the show on a Ponant voyage, but Le Lyrial is a sophisticated cruise ship with more than enough to keep everyone occupied during their time at sea.

If you’re looking to unwind and relax, you’ll find a variety of sensational spa treatments available in the wellness area onboard; alongside this, you’ll also find a well-equipped fitness studio – so, those of you who want to work up a sweat and stick to a workout regime will find everything they need to do just that. There’s also a free access Hammam (Turkish Bath) onboard and available during the day, so everyone can refresh themselves during their voyage.

Beyond this, you’ll also find a swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and a watersports Marina platform – which is deployed on select days during your sailings – to take advantage of. So, whether you want to admire the stunning sea from a distance, or disembark on some active fun, Le Lyrial is well-equipped to cater to you.
