Crystal Serenity

At 68,000 tons and capable of serving 980 guests, Crystal Serenity is the cruise line's largest ship. Yet despite her size, she maintains one of the highest space-per-guest ratios at sea meaning that you'll never feel crowded. Featuring many of the same popular public spaces and amenities as Crystal Symphony, Crystal Serenity serves up innovation in the form of dining venues such as Silk Kitchen & Bar, Umi Uma & Sushi Bar, and the fabulous Stardust Supper Club.

Ship Facilities

From gracious formal meals to casual poolside dining, with cuisine ranging from regional Italian to elegant Japanese, Crystal Cruises pleases every palate. The main restaurant onboard is the Waterside, which boasts a fantastic menu comprising a wide variety of dishes. There are plenty of tables for two, four, or groups, so whether you are looking to meet fellow cruisers, or have a beautiful evening for two, the Waterside has you covered. An open seating policy has also been debuted on Crystal Serenity, allowing for more flexibility when it comes to entertainment, activities and time spent ashore.

Other dining choices include Umi Uma & Sushi Bar, which boasts an innovative menu curated by internationally-acclaimed chef Nobu, while the Silk Kitchen & Bar, offers delicious and unfussy Chinese cuisine. If you're in the mood for Italian classics, head to Prego, or there is also an interchanging venue - the casual eatery Marketplace by day and authentic Brazilian Steakhouse Churrascaria by night.

On the first and last evening of sailings of 8 days or more 'Black Tie Optional' evenings are held as well as an opulent Stardust Supper Club in the Stardust Club. Reminiscent of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra-era exclusive clubs, this place offers a truly memorable evening. Enjoy a four-course meal from the Waterside menu, alongside fantastic entertainment provided by the resident show band and vocalists, and the Ballroom Dance Quartet during dessert and coffee. Guests can even get up and join in with dances should the mood take them.

Alternatively, if all you're looking for is a quiet evening in, what could possibly be more luxurious than a multi-course gourmet meal, delivered to your stateroom!

Conceived and produced by their own creative in-house production staff, Crystal Cruises' Broadway-style shows are a highlight of every cruise. After dinner, stroll to the Galaxy Lounge to witness the talented Crystal Ensemble of Singers and Dancers in such spectacular original productions as Fascinatin' Rhythm, Million Dollar Musicals, COLE!, Curtain Call and their latest creation, Crystal on Broadway, The Musical, which showcases music from Rent, West Side Story, and Something Rotten!

In addition to these grand productions, Crystal Serenity also offers various venues in which you can simply relax and socialise. Head to the Stardust Club for evening drinks and dancing, Palm Court to enjoy your favourite shot in a luxurious wingback chair, or an Irish coffee while settling down in one of the comfy sofas.

Spa and Fitness

Cruising is all about lifestyle: fine wining and dining, visiting exotic destinations and enjoying extravagant production shows. However, today's guest is also interested in balancing the rich life of a cruise with health and fitness. If that sounds like you, then Crystal Cruises is your perfect holiday! From the wrap-around, all-outdoor teak Promenade Deck - one of the most popular features on all Crystal ships, and one you won't find on many other large cruise ships - to a Spa with one of the world's best views, every Crystal cruise offers a variety of options for keeping fit and well.

Recreation

There's so much to do on a Crystal cruise. Whether you choose to attend an enriching lecture at the Stardust Club and stay on afterwards for a game of bridge in the same venue or pop along to see what's happening in the multi-purpose studio, there’s lots of fun to be had throughout the day.

Crystal Cruises encourage guests to get involved and learn or hone new skills onboard, and offer a multitude of options to do just this. The Computer University@Sea and classroom are available for those who want to learn more about today's fast-paced world of technology, while Crystal's Creative Learning Institute hosts a brilliant collection of talks covering a wide range of topics.

Guests can also go shopping, see a movie, or spend some quiet time in the library where you can find everything you need to know about life onboard, including information about medical services, laundry and valet.

Customer reviews for Crystal Serenity

Wow, wow, wow, that's all I can say about Crystal cruises. If you do not know Crystal only have two ships the Serenity and the Symphony and they re-furbish these ships around every 3 years so you always get a feeling of being on a new ship. As six star ships go these are big compared to the competition, so for those of you who like all the features, you will not be disappointed. The Serenity t has a fitness centre and spa, teen centre and children's play area (not many six star ships have these), table tennis, inside and outside pools, theatre,  cinema, nightclub and shops.  There are also many different bars, lounges and restaurants where you can eat. The service on board is second to none and you are made to feel like you are worth a million dollars, how many holidays make you feel like this? The food is certainly the best food I have ever had at sea and I have eaten in mitchellin star restaurants before. As you can expect the cabins are all done to the highest degree and you will be found wanting nothing. All in all the best all round cruise I have ever been on and I can't wait to go again.
