Dining aboard MS Fram is a delight, and HX Hurtigruten Expeditions have made sure that only the finest meals – made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients – are served during this ship’s sensational sailings. A smaller expedition vessel, MS Fram is home to two dining venues:
On the upper decks, you’ll also find an outdoor BBQ area – which will be made use of by the ship’s culinary team at set occasions during your voyage. Whether you’re looking for informal light bites during the daytime or a more refined dinner, MS Fram will deliver a delicious meal every time.

You won’t find video arcades or mini-golf courses aboard MS Fram, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t anything to do. Alongside the informative lectures and interesting presentations held by the resident Expedition team, this HX Hurtigruten Expeditions ship is home to outdoor whirlpool hot tubs, a state-of-the-art sauna, and a well-equipped gym – so, your wellness is well in-hand while sailing with MS Fram.
The Science Centre onboard is also equipped with science equipment and more information to further deepen your understanding of the destinations on your itinerary. While the activity-based amenities on MS Fram are unique, there’s a whole host of unique shore excursions to look forward to while sailing with HX Hurtigruten Expeditions.

Sailed to Antarctica Nov 2016. Also previously to Svalbard in 2011. Were excellent expedition voyages. Staff / expedition leaders were brilliant. All zodiac Cruising was executed professionally even though were some breakdowns on both voyages. Cabins, small and basic, especially if sharing, but clean and had everything needed. Food was good with plenty of choice.
Just returned from our second trip on the Fram went to Greenland and Iceland this time and Svalbard last time. Elxcellent arrangements of tours on all occasions excellent food and excellent staff cabins rather basic but very clean. Fully occupied at all time with lectures and excursions.
