MS Fram

Dining aboard MS Fram is a delight, and HX Expeditions have made sure that only the finest meals – made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients – are served during this ship’s sensational sailings. A smaller expedition vessel, MS Fram is home to two dining venues:

• Aune Restaurant - as much a social space as a dining venue, this casual restaurant is open to all for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; you’ll find dishes inspired by HX Expeditions’ rich heritage here
• Lindstrom Restaurant - a specialty restaurant named after Norwegian polar chef Adolf Lindstrom, fine dining here is included for suite guests and available at an additional cost for everyone else onboard

On the upper decks, you’ll also find an outdoor BBQ area – which will be made use of by the ship’s culinary team at set occasions during your voyage. Whether you’re looking for informal light bites during the daytime or a more refined dinner, MS Fram will deliver a delicious meal every time.

A small expedition vessel hosting voyages encouraging exploration with education, the entertainment options aboard MS Fram are focused on giving guests a space to relax, socialise, and share stories – that, and informing everyone onboard about the environment around them, and both the history and culture of the destinations on each itinerary.

With this in mind, you’ll find the following entertainment venues onboard:

• Explorer Lounge & Bar - a comfortable space to kick-back and relax after a unique shore excursion, you’ll find plenty of comfortable seating and sensational views here

In addition to this, the resident Expedition Team will deliver informative presentations and interesting lectures throughout your sailing; so, each shore excursion with HX Expeditions will be even more rewarding and even more memorable.

You won’t find video arcades or mini-golf courses aboard MS Fram, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t anything to do. Alongside the informative lectures and interesting presentations held by the resident Expedition team, this HX Expeditions ship is home to outdoor whirlpool hot tubs, a state-of-the-art sauna, and a well-equipped gym – so, your wellness is well in-hand while sailing with MS Fram.

The new-and-improved Science Centre onboard is also equipped with science equipment and more information to further deepen your understanding of the destinations on your itinerary. While the activity-based amenities on MS Fram are unique, there’s a whole host of unique shore excursions to look forward to while sailing with HX Expeditions.

When you sail with MS Fram, you can take advantage of a wide range of included amenities, activities and more. From a reusable water bottle that you can take home with you, to access to the sauna, onboard activities, coffee, tea and soft drinks, walking equipment, an expeditions logbook, included gratuities and more!

You can now look forward to an ‘all inclusive’ offering onboard MS Fram, which not only includes the above, but expert-led daily expeditions and science-led activities (on and off shore), a selection of alcoholic beverages (from 1pm each day of your cruise), professional photographs, an Expedition jacket and Starlink Wi-Fi.
