What's onboard

Dining

Le Boreal is home to two distinct dining venues, each offering a unique dining experience with sensational cuisine crafted with the finest ingredients available. In La Licorne, you can enjoy stunning French food and international cuisine throughout breakfast, lunch, and dinner; this venue also has enough seating for everyone onboard, so you won’t need to worry about missing out. Alternatively, you’ll also find La Boussole onboard, an elegant grill restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. This venue also serves food throughout breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Entertainment

Le Boreal boasts impressive entertainment experiences, despite being a smaller ship sailing in the Ponant fleet, and you can rest assured knowing that your days at sea will be well-spent. In both the main lounge space and the panoramic lounge on the upper decks, you’ll find space for live entertainment – which is available on select evenings throughout your voyage. Alongside this, you’ll also find a theatre venue onboard and an al fresco bar area overlooking the pool. With an exciting itinerary of onboard entertainment to look forward to alongside your cruise itinerary, you’re in for a treat when you set sail with Le Boreal.

Family

While Le Boreal and Ponant voyages are primarily aimed at adults, you will find some family-friendly entertainment options onboard. With children’s books and board games available in the Library area, alongside a selection of guided age-appropriate activity sessions, children will be kept entertained while at sea with Ponant and Le Boreal.

Children ages 1 year and older can embark on a Ponant cruise, but children must be at least 4 years old to join the Kid’s Club – when this service is offered – and there is a limit of five children between 1 and 6 years old onboard at any one time.

Things to do

The incredible destinations on your itinerary might be the highlight of your Ponant cruise aboard Le Boreal, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t anything else to enjoy onboard. If you’re looking to unwind while at sea, the spa is home to a range of relaxing treatments alongside a free access Hammam (Turkish bath) for you to take advantage of. Or, if you’re looking to take care of yourself in a more active way, the Le Boreal wellness area is also home to a well-equipped Fitness Studio. This Ponant ship is also home to an aft-facing Marina platform, off which you can enjoy using watersports equipment on select sea days throughout your voyage. Although, it’s not all active activities; if lounging is more your speed, you’ll find plenty of places to put your feet up around the swimming pool on the top deck.
