Combining modern design and innovative technologies, Le Jacques Cartier is a luxury Ponant vessel that's exclusively being chartered by Hankyu Travel for select sailings in Japan. Setting sail in 2020, this luxury ship is ideal for exploring Japan, and will feature ten expert naturalists who will accompany you to reveal the secrets of the country’s secrets of culture, history and nature. With two venues to choose from, both serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with gastronomic creations created by an onboard Japanese chef throughout your cruise, your Japanese adventure will be filled with incredible dining options.

Entertainment
Le Jacques Cartier offers a variety of entertainment, including live music and shows in the stylish theatre. Throughout the select sailings, there will also be themed experiences, including kimono dressing, an onboard tea ceremony and more.
Alongside experiences designed specifically for your Japanese sailing, you can also take advantage of the Blue Eye, an extraordinary underwater lounge with portholes, the Main Lounge, boasting cosy seating and playing host to evening shows, and the Panoramic Lounge, offering panoramic views of the ocean.
Things to do
There will be a wealth of activities to enjoy throughout your Japanese voyage, such as visits to Japanese Heritage and World Heritage sites, and exploration excursions that use Zodiacs to access small islands and remote areas throughout the country. And when you’re not on an extraordinary shore excursion, you can take full advantage of the onboard amenities.
