Carnival Liberty sails out of Port Canaveral in Orlando, Florida for sun-soaked fly-cruises to the Bahamas in the Caribbean.
The abundance of dining options, bars, clubs and onboard activities make Carnival Liberty as much an attraction as the destinations themselves. In addition, with the introduction of the Carnival Seaside Theatre poolside on the Lido deck you can see movies, sporting events and concerts out in the sun or under the stars.

Carnival Liberty has a dining venue for everyone, no matter your mood, preferences or group size. With a wide selection of included restaurants to pop in and enjoy as well as other additional-cost venues perfect for a special occasion.
The dining venues range in terms of formality depending on the time of day but in general the additional restaurants and dinner sittings have a cruise casual to elegant dress code while other dining venues during the day are fairly relaxed. It’s also recommended to reserve your place at the speciality restaurants as soon as you book your holiday with us to avoid disappointment but at the other venues you can enjoy being able to turn up as and when you want thanks to Carnival’s relaxed American-style approach to cruise holidays.
In terms of shows Carnival Liberty has something for everyone such as Hasbro the Game Show and Seuss at Sea for the little ones, and Punchliner Comedy Club for older guests. Sports fans should head to Skybox Sports Bar to catch their favourite team play, while the video game arcade is open to challenge your family. In addition, Redfrog Bar offers live music, Alchemy Bar has quirky cocktails and BlueIguana Tequila Bar serves up a taste of Mexico for those looking to relax with a drink.
In the evenings the main show lounge draws in the crowds to see live cabaret and Broadway-style shows while later on the onboard nightclub is open for night owls wanting to dance the night away. The casino is also a popular adult-only entertainment venue with over 180 slot machines, poker and blackjack tables, and a bar.
Carnival Liberty is a great family-friendly cruise ship typical of Carnival cruises with plenty of activities to keep everyone amused during sunny days at sea. Children are free to head to the Camp Ocean kids’ clubs, attend a fun-filled Zumbini workshop or go and watch Hasbro the Game Show.
The hub of the ship while the suns up, the Lido Deck boasts tiered seating down onto the pool and great views of the big LED screen showing movies, sports events and concerts. Poolside you’ll also find bars for drinks and snacks plus hot tubs and the twister waterslide open all day for everyone to dive in and make a splash together. In addition, the Serenity Adult-Only Retreat lets the grownups get some well-earned quiet on the plentiful loungers and peaceful pools while the kids are in the kids clubs looked after by the dedicated team.
If wanting to stay active while onboard, head to the sports deck for basketball, volleyball and even mini golf, as well as a jogging track. Inside you’ll also find the fitness centre featuring not only exercise equipment but also a spa with sauna and steam rooms as well as a salon and bookable treatments.
Great cruise, enjoyed our Carabian cruise immensely. But having cruised before, we found the food a bit tedious. Staff lovely. Drinks expensive. Especially adding tips on as well. Entertainment was ok, but a wee childish for our taste. Our room was brilliant & had a large balcony which we enjoyed. To be honest I've been on better ships, but it's great value for money & I would consider Carnival again .

This was our first cruise and overall we had a good time and saw some new and interesting destinations. We thought you should have advised us of the tipping policy when we bought the cruise. As this was our first cruise I ended up spending a long time on the carnival website trying to understand the procedure for boarding, labeling, etc and thought you could have at least drawn out attention to the new experiences. The food and service were generally excellent. The stateroom was also excellent. We did two excursions with Carnival and they were OK if a bit pricey. It is quite a commercial atmosphere when you are on board and we must have been asked 20 times if we wanted our photo taken, which we didn't want. The entertainment was OK but not exceptional. Next time I think we will go on a UK ship, not American.
We had our first cruise with Carnival, it was my daughters honeymoon/family vacation as my daughter leaves for the navy and this will be our last vacation for a while. This was the most memorable vacation I have ever had, it was amazing, the ship was amazing and the staff. Please dont get me started on the food my clothes won't fit right lol. We did the 8 day cruise to Grand Turk, St Maarten, St Thomas and Puerto Rico, each port of call was just as beautiful. I will recommend this cruise to anyone who will listen to me. The staff who clean our cabin to our waiter Art and guest services and of course Cory lol was just great!! I look forward to doing this again really soon.
