Ship Facilities

MSC Cruises has always put a great deal of effort into the choice and preparation of meals served onboard. You can choose between 5 restaurants, 7 bars and lounges and 2 outdoor bars. Cuisine onboard tantalizes taste buds with thousands of different delicious dishes to choose from.

You will not only taste wonderful Italian cuisine, but you will also be able to enjoy dishes that are typical of the countries you visit, prepared with specially selected, fresh ingredients. From breakfast to lunch and spectacular dinners under the stars, you will find MSC Cruises’ unbeatable style in all dishes.

Included dining

  • L’Edera- one of the two main dining rooms, this nicely appointed restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a range of dishes inspired by Italian fare and global cuisine.
  • Quattro Venti- the second dining room onboard the ship, Quattro Venti only serves dinner with the same menu as L’Edera.
  • Sahara and L’Oasi- non-stop dining between 6am and 2am.

Speciality dining

  • Oriental Plaza- a much smaller restaurant than the others onboard, Oriental Plaza offers an intimate dining experience with à la carte dishes from China, India, Thailand, Indonesia and Japan.
  • Room Service- if at any point you just don’t have the energy to leave your cabin, don’t worry! Bring the food to your door with room service at an additional charge.

Entertainment onboard MSC Magnifica is guaranteed from morning to evening. Expect 10 pin bowling, 4D cinema and even a futuristic disco. Night-time entertainment won’t disappoint either and whether you choose to watch a show at the Royal Theatre, hit the jackpot at the Atlantic City Casino or give your vocals a workout at karaoke, you may well find yourself stumbling into bed in the early hours of the morning.

If you’d prefer to spend the evening kicking back and enjoying a drink, there’s a bar onboard to suit every mood:

  • L’Amestia Lounge- plush décor and live piano recitals
  • L’Olimpiade Sport Bar- stay up to date with all the latest events during your holiday
  • Ruby Bar- relax on a barstool while the bartender whips up your drink
  • Topazio Bar- bright and social

Customer reviews for MSC Magnifica

I've travelled on MSC ships twice in the last 4 weeks there is always a party atmosphere to these cruises. The one thing that puts me off choosing their ships in the future is the smoking policy. In this day and age to allow smoking in the casino when the smoke drifts into other areas of the ship and the lifts is not very customer focus. Management gave the impression of whatever!!!!!

Have just had the most amazing holiday on this beautiful ship, we can't praise the staff on board the Magnifica enough for the excellent service we recieved from the waiters to the cabin stewards. Our balcony cabin was beautifully maintained and the food plentiful and lots of variety both from the restaurant to the buffet service which was available all day. Excellent entertainment during the evening, this ship lived up to its name. I wouldn't hesitate to sail with this cruise company again.

Could be a lot better, buffet food barely warm. With the exception of the male and female lead singers the shows the theatre shows were disappointing. The first information sheet you read on entering your stateroom states shorts are not allowed in the formal dining room, however on entering the restaurant it looked like a beach scene with a large number of people wearing shorts and tee shirts. I spoke to the maitre’d about the lack of dress code and he just shrugged. If MSC don’t want to endorse the dress code, why have one? It makes you feel you have been misled on your expectations. The table service wasn’t as good as on other cruise lines, and was generally disappointing. Having cruised with MSC twice we would not choose them again, in fact if we hadn’t booked Magnifica before the Belissima cruise we wouldn’t of done so. I was very happy with Iglu cruises service, and would certainly use you again, but I will stick with,P&O, Royal Caribbean, and Marella,s larger ships. Kind regards, K.Aston.
