The main dining rooms offer early or late sittings, usually at 6:00pm and 8:15pm, serving fantastic three course menus. Casual dining includes the Lido Marketplace, with a huge variety of food or the Pizzeria — open 24 hours a day for those calzone cravings.
Carnival Cruises offer specific children's menus that include family home cooked-style meals such as spaghetti & meatballs, chicken nuggets, and mac & cheese, as well as plenty of fresh fruit and veggies. Desserts are also child friendly, ranging from a banana split to chocolate brownies. For adults looking to indulge there is the Chef's Table, where you can enjoy a VIP meal with a tour of the galley, champagne and hors d’oeuvres followed by a mind-blowing meal of amazing appetizers, entrees and desserts.
Entertainment
Entertainment onboard Carnival Legend includes a fantastic choice of bars, shows and live music. There are sporting activities, comedy club nights and cabaret shows to suit your mood each day onboard. Pop to the casino if you fancy a flutter and see if holiday luck is on your side. You never know, this might be the day that you win big!
If you're looking to make some noise then head to the karaoke bar for cocktails and a sing-along, while the sports bar is great for those who want to keep you up to date with all the major sporting events.
If it’s a refreshing, al fresco drink that you’re looking for, the Red Frog Pub serves ice cold beer all day long, and with a pint of beer coming in at around $5.25, the bars are some of the best value at sea.
Family
Nobody has been forgotten onboard Carnival Legend and with activities aimed at all the family, it’s a cruise that is guaranteed to be a memorable experience for guests of all ages.
For the youngsters there is Camp Carnival, offering day long activities and fun for kids of all ages, as well as a sociable environment for teenagers to escape from their parents. However, a family holiday is also about getting everyone back together again, and with film screenings, interactive game shows and flexible dining times, family cruising has never been so easy.
Things to do
Carnival Legend boasts a spa, fitness centre and the Serenity adults-only retreat. Enjoy a selection of treatments, pop to the salon for a pampering, or relax in the steam room or sauna. If you are looking for something a little more active then there are fitness classes, including yoga and Pilates, throughout the day. You can work off some of the great food in the fitness centre or check out the sports courts for a quick game of five a side football or to shoot some hoops.
If that isn't enough to keep you busy onboard, there is a library to escape to for some quiet time with a good book, boutique shopping to get your duty free and a choice of pools and lounges in which to relax.

Iglu Cruise customer reviews for Carnival Legend
Went on 12 night return trip from dover England. to belfast stornaway iceland and kirkwall. So smooth to embark and disembark. Entertainment food staff decour of ship all wonderful. Very relaxed atmosphere. Pools restaurants all great. Nothing was too much trouble for staff members. 1st but hopefully not last carnival cruise.
The friendliest cruise line I've ever been on. All the staff seem happy and well motivated, and fellow cruisers were much less 'stuffy' than other lines I've cruised on. Loved the selection of music in various bars, the comedy and lectures during the day and the wide selection of quizzes. Food was plentiful and varied. Being referred to by name by all the crew that we interacted with was also a lovely touch - as was the towel art!
Excellent customer service from IGLU and a fabulous cruise. The ship was great, staff, food, entertainment all fabulous. The sights of Alaska were breath taking and I highly recommend iglu and carnival.
Returned 13 Sept 2013 from Norway and Northern Europe trip. First morning out, the sea was rough and while I was in the bathroom the ship lurched and I fell backwards into the shower - back still aching (I noticed that there were no rails in bathroom which might have prevented my fall) so older people beware! Entertainment was v. good but ship rather shabby and very dark. Was mildly shocked when I entered for the first time. The food in Lido not that good and food in dining room mostly lukewarm. It was my first time with Carnival Legend and I shall not be returning!!
