When it comes to dining on Celebrity Apex, you’re going to be spoilt for choice – met with a fantastic array of colourful cuisine – and able to enjoy some of the finest food on the seven seas. Whether guests opt to eat at one of the complimentary restaurants onboard, or prefer to dine out in one of the specialty venues available, there’s great food out there for everyone to delight in. And, with over 25 restaurants, bars, and lounges on Celebrity Apex, you can embark on a culinary journey unlike any other with Celebrity Cruises.
The four main restaurants onboard, Cosmopolitan, Normandie, Tuscan, and Cyprus all offer their own distinct style and menu, making them the perfect place to sit down for a delicious dish – be that at breakfast, lunchtime, or for dinner. With flavourful foods familiar and new, attentive service from the waiting staff, and a sophisticated setting, you won’t be disappointed.
The choice of eateries doesn’t end there, though, and you’ll find yourself with more than enough options if you’re looking for a more casual dining experience during your voyage. The Oceanview Cafe, for example, is a great place to eat – with flavours around the world in dishes prepared by world-class chefs, despite the casual dress code. Other complimentary restaurants on Celebrity Apex include the Mast Grill, the Spa Cafe, and Eden Cafe.
Or, of course, you can always spend an evening in one of the ship’s specialty restaurants – which it’s recommended you book a table for. From steakhouse classics to fine French delights, here’s a selection of the specialty dining venues you can find on Celebrity Apex right now:
There’s no shortage of ways to spend your evenings onboard Celebrity Apex, from quiet bars where the stunning scenery is the true star of the show to dazzling stage performances. The ship really comes alive as the sun sets, with so many upbeat venues to enjoy, but you’ll still find a healthy selection of quiet spots to enjoy if you want a more relaxing evening.
When it comes to the bars and lounges available, here’s a taste of what Celebrity Apex has to offer:
Beyond this, there’s plenty of live entertainment to enjoy on Celebrity Apex – and it’s not all inside a bar or lounge. If you head to The Club you can enjoy anything and everything from drone racing to DJ sets – with a few circus performances thrown in there for good measure, too. Eden is also not to be missed; with three floors of windows to enjoy the sea views from, you’ll also find yourself enjoying live performance art here.
However, The Magic Carpet is the real star of the show here. A cantilevered platform on the side of the ship, this innovative venue has a full bar and space for live music – all while raising and lowering across 13 floors of the cruise ship. This creates a unique environment and gives you a chance to enjoy some of the best ocean views available onboard.
While you’re not going to find many attractions designed to specifically cater to children aboard Celebrity Apex, this Celebrity Cruises ship is open to guests of all ages and there are kid’s clubs with age-appropriate activity programming available onboard.
In Camp at Sea, you’ll find an array of activities available throughout your voyage for children of all ages. Shipmates (ages 3 to 5) is a great place to practice your arts and crafts under the supervision of experienced youth staff, while Cadets (ages 6 to 9) offers a unique nautical programme where children can learn the basics of sailing and socialise with Lawn Club games, movie nights, and more.
Meanwhile, Captains (ages 10 to 12) affords children a little more freedom onboard, with scavenger hunts and competitions on the agenda, and Teens (ages 13 to 17) is a great way to socialise with silent disco parties, video game tournaments, and more to enjoy.
Hosted in the dedicated Camp at Sea area and The Basement, a teen-focused hangout with age appropriate activities and plenty of space to socialise while at sea, younger cruisers will still have more than enough to do while at sea – and, there’s nothing stopping them from checking out the incredible entertainment elsewhere onboard, too!

My main “issue” was that the cost to upgrade to the specialty restaurants was too expensive- interestingly Raw on 5 restaurant was virtually empty ever night which speaks volumes The “standard “ restaurants were excellent although limited menus
Apex is a lovely ship , the smallest I have been on but the best interiors and food . Not so much to do on entertainment side but i feel you dont need so much on a sunny cruise . Sitting on deck with a book and a view is enough . I have to say I dont know why Grand Cayman is a destination as there is nothing to see really so i would not book a cruise if its one of the stops . Capt and crew were so good , really made an effort to be friendly and the dancers in shows interacting with guests after shows was a nice touch . we dont usually go to buffet restaurants on ships but APEX is the exception the food at buffet was top notch . Only negetives is Wifi isnt great on the basic package ,we only wanted to text home and send pics , but to send pics was extra $60 on top of already expensive basic package . Also No non alcoholic cocktails ?? Bar staff seemed suprised at request
Lovely ship, lovely staff, loved my cruise.
best cruise ever
