Launched in 2020, Celebrity Apex is part of the Celebrity Cruises' fleet and the second ship in the Edge Class of cruise ships, matching her sister ship Celebrity Edge in features and more to truly offer the pinnacle of modern luxury cruising. With capacity for 2,900 passengers, Celebrity Apex features all of the onboard amenities that make Celebrity Edge so popular including infinite balconies, martini glass Jacuzzis, and the fantastic cantilevered platform the ‘Magic Carpet’. Whether you're sailing around the Caribbean, the Mediterranean or the Greek Isles, expect immersive shore excursions, hours spent soaking up the sunshine on deck and evenings enjoying the entertainment onboard Celebrity Apex.
In terms of dining you can expect the same level of fantastic cuisine as Celebrity Apex’s predecessors in the Celebrity Cruises fleet. Whether passengers opt for ‘free dining’ or prefer to try out one of the speciality restaurants onboard, there’s something for everyone with 29 unbelievable eating and drinking options to choose from.
Of these dining venues there will be four standard and seven speciality restaurants. Special mention has to go to Luminae, which is exclusively for suite guests as an alternative to the main dining room, and the Rooftop Garden Grill for homely burgers and barbecues out in the open air. However, as with most aspects on Celebrity Apex, the Magic Carpet simply steals the show for its truly unique dining experience, taking guests high into the air to experience al fresco evening meals. Other venues include:
Once again, Celebrity Apex boasts the same excellent entertainment venues and features as her sister ship:
The activities onboard Celebrity Apex are tailored so that every guest can enjoy themselves during the cruise. The large pool and jogging track on the Resort Deck mean that you can stay active during your holiday, although if you’d rather just dip your toes in the water while sipping on a drink, there is the Pool Bar where you can do just this. The ship is also a great place to indulge in some retail therapy and with top-end brands, you’re guaranteed to find a little holiday treat exactly to your taste. Celebrity also hasn’t forgotten about the younger guests onboard. Camp at Sea has been carefully organised so that children of all ages can take part in interactive and engaging activities.
Celebrity Cruises offer some of the finest spa facilities at sea with their AquaClass packages, which include unlimited access to the Persian Garden Spa, plus exclusive dining in the clean-eating speciality restaurant, Blu. As well as this, Celebrity Apex takes rejuvenation while cruising to a whole new level, featuring a 22,000 square foot spa complex designed by Kelly Hoppen, of Dragon’s Den fame. Featured spa and treatment facilities include zero gravity, ocean wave or salt stone massages out of an unbelievable 124 possible treatments.
