Tuck into a culinary journey that will take you to as many countries as your cruise ship. Whether you choose casual dining or a more formal meal, Serenade of the Sea caters for every appetite.
No holiday with Royal Caribbean would be complete without experiencing the amazing variety of entertainment available onboard, including evenings spent in one of Serenade of the Seas fantastic bars or lounges:
However, a night of fun doesn’t just have to be sitting in a bar, so if you’d like to try something else then Serenade of the Sea has plenty more to offer. With a cinema, outdoor movie screenings and even Curtain Up, the place to go for a Broadway-style performance, you’re sure to find somewhere memorable to spend your evenings. Before you leave, and if the holiday spirit is making you feel like luck is on your side, try your hand at the Casino Royale and see what winnings you can take home.
No matter their age, everyone should be able to enjoy a cruise and Serenade of the Seas makes it as fun as possible, even for the youngest guests onboard. For the little ones aged 6-36 months, there’s a dedicated club where they can play with their parents and guardians, making the most of all the interactive toys and games available. Older kids will have hours of fun at Adventure Ocean where they can make new friends as they play, discover and learn. Teenagers will be pleased to know that they haven’t been forgotten about as there is a nightclub just for them, perfect for hanging out and dancing to the best music without parents cramping their style.
However, a holiday is also about making memories together, so get the family together at the retro video arcade where everyone can enjoy the modern and classic games on offer. Alternatively, Adventure Beach is a pool area specially built for kids to enjoy, with sun loungers by the side so the adults can sit back, relax and see the smiles on their kids’ faces.
Royal Carribbean knows that there’s nowhere better to indulge in a bit of “me time” than on holiday and Serenade of the Sea is fully equipped to make this the most relaxed cruise you could imagine. Start off with a visit to the Vitality Spa, where treatments ranging from facials, to couple massages and even acupuncture therapy are guaranteed to help you forget all your worries. Continue with the relaxation by heading straight to one of the sun loungers by the pool- perfect for topping up that tan to make all your friends envious!
However, if sunbathing isn’t quite your style, there are plenty of activities onboard that will get you moving. To see the ship from a slightly different perspective, have a go at scaling the rock climbing wall and take in the breathtaking views on the way up (if you dare). Back down on the deck, there are lots of other sports to try out, from a race around the running track, to a game of table tennis or shooting hoops on the basketball court. For those who like to keep up their workout routine, the onboard gym has all the equipment you need to make sure you stay on track even when you’re at sea. After all that exercise, take a well-deserved dip in one of the pools to help you cool off, topped off with some time in the whirlpool to help those muscles recover.
Great ship with excellent facilities and dining options. Really enjoyed using the very well equipped gym. Stateroom very comfortable and clean. Our cabin attendant was lovely and very helpful. Entertainment exceeded our expectations. The crew were all really helpful and provided excellent customer service.
Fantastic trip, the staff are excellent for service and friendliness. At the ports we visited, it was easy to find a clean beach with lovely blue sea to swim or snorkle in.
We were initially disappointed that our sea pass card was not loaded with our drinks package. This caused a number of embarrassing occasions when we were refused drinks, it was only when I insisted on being taken to someone who could address this issue that the problem was delete with by the head waiter. Also getting meals in the restaurant at a sensible time for my grandsons was only resolved after my son in-laws intervention with the restaurant manager. After this we could only speak highly of all of the members of the crew.
The cruise was more than i expected . Royal Caribbean can be proud of themselves as the ship was wonderful and the crew were always there to help out and the ports were great but i think we arrived at them at the end of there season so there were many places closed .
