No matter their age, everyone should be able to enjoy a cruise and Serenade of the Seas makes it as fun as possible, even for the youngest guests onboard. For the little ones aged 6-36 months, there’s a dedicated club where they can play with their parents and guardians, making the most of all the interactive toys and games available. Older kids will have hours of fun at Adventure Ocean where they can make new friends as they play, discover and learn. Teenagers will be pleased to know that they haven’t been forgotten about as there is a nightclub just for them, perfect for hanging out and dancing to the best music without parents cramping their style.

However, a holiday is also about making memories together, so get the family together at the retro video arcade where everyone can enjoy the modern and classic games on offer. Alternatively, Adventure Beach is a pool area specially built for kids to enjoy, with sun loungers by the side so the adults can sit back, relax and see the smiles on their kids’ faces.

However, if sunbathing isn’t quite your style, there are plenty of activities onboard that will get you moving. To see the ship from a slightly different perspective, have a go at scaling the rock climbing wall and take in the breathtaking views on the way up (if you dare). Back down on the deck, there are lots of other sports to try out, from a race around the running track, to a game of table tennis or shooting hoops on the basketball court. For those who like to keep up their workout routine, the onboard gym has all the equipment you need to make sure you stay on track even when you’re at sea. After all that exercise, take a well-deserved dip in one of the pools to help you cool off, topped off with some time in the whirlpool to help those muscles recover.
