Celebrity Eclipse

Celebrity Eclipse is Celebrity Cruises first ship to sail from the famous UK port of Southampton. Debuting as the third edition in the Solstice Class of Celebrity cruise ships, Eclipse boasts the same fantastic facilities as her popular sister ships Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Equinox.

This popularity is due to not only Celebrity Cruises’ famed premium cruise service, spa facilities and fantastic destinations, such as Alaska, Asia and Australia, but also the unique lawn club at the top deck of each Solstice Class ship. A Celebrity cruise onboard Eclipse is a cruise at your own leisurely pace where you can take part in enriching activities, explore the destination to the full with a cruise and stay package, or simply enjoy a drink and snack by the pool. With spacious staterooms designed by a team of five ladies, 85% of which have a private balcony, to a two-storey crystal wine tower, Martini Ice Bar with over 50 different flavours of vodka and martini, and one crew member to almost every two guests, you'll sail like a celebrity on this award-winning ship.

Ship Facilities

Whatever your tastes, the time of day or mood, there’s something to tingle everyone’s taste buds onboard Celebrity Eclipse. As well as the main dining room and buffet, you’ll find many popular Celebrity dining venues and restaurants to refuel for another day of cruising. Popular examples on Eclipse include Tuscan’s Italian and Murano’s French cuisine while if you’re looking for a true spectacle with your meal, Le Petit chef at Qsine allows you to virtually see your luxury meal made before your very eyes.

If you're looking for a snack during the day, Café Al Bacio and Gelateria are on hand with Italian ice cream and coffees while Mast Grill is open by the pool for burgers and other tasty snacks. However, the highlight of eating in your swimming gear is at the AquaSpa Café, serving heathy bites and smoothies without having to leave the spa. For AquaClass guests there is also exclusive access to Blu, a healthy eating restaurant seating only 76 lucky passengers at a time.

Ranging from cocktail bars to a nightclub and casino, there’s a variety of venues onboard for guests to discover during the evening. The main star of nightimes onboard the ship is the live music played across several different venues. On the deck, in the lounges and the main foyer, guests can expect anything from a classical string quartet to a jazz orchestra or solo pianists. The Eclipse Theater is a great place to catch a show featuring performances by aerialists, dancers and magicians to name just a few.

If none of this entertainment takes your fancy, there are plenty of other amazing spots dotted across the ships where you can enjoy a romantic drink with your partner or dance into the early hours.

Customer reviews for Celebrity Eclipse

Last year April 2019 we booked with Iglu for a three weeks cruise with Celebrity Eclipse. Stayed in Waikiki Honolulu for one week then cruised around the Hawaiian islands for ten days and disembarked at Vancouver, Canada. While in Honolulu we stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort. It was fantastic, we met the cast of Hawaii Five 0 who were filming at the resort. Just be aware that most hotels in Hawaii charge a daily resort charge of up to 40 dollars a night. We were not made aware of this at the time of booking this holiday. But credit to Iglu, when we got back home iglu refunded all of the resort charge. The Celebrity Eclipse was fabulous , I can recommend this holiday from Iglu. Tip , extend the stay at the resorts pre and post cruise at least four to five days each side. Thank you Iglu for a great holiday. Barbara Smith.

All aspects of the holiday was great and well organised by iglu

We looked at other cruises but couldn't find what we wanted when a friend recommended Iglu. We enjoyed the cruise and would go with Iglu again. When we enquired about the cruise and spoke to Danielle she was very helpful with all points we raised . Both the cruise and Rocky Mountaineer was great .
