On Celebrity Constellation there is a dining option to suit everyone’s mood and taste at all times of day. With the Oceanview Café and Bar you have a chilled out food court concept where you can pick from a selection of stations serving various cuisines. The main dining room, San Marco, serves all meals in a stunning two-storey venue even serving afternoon tea, with floor to ceiling windows and incredible views.
One of the highlights of cruising with Celebrity is surely to stay in one of the AquaClass staterooms. As well as access to the exceptional onboard OneSpaWorld, these guests get exclusive access to the AquaSpa café and the famous Blu restaurant, serving only 76 people a host of clean and delicious dishes. Meanwhile, those staying in The Retreat can indulge in delicious meals at the exclusive Luminae.
For those wanting to treat themselves the Tuscan Grille, Suhsi on Five and Le Petit Chef restaurants are a must. Serving everything from authentic Italian specialities to Japanese delights, you won't be disappointed no matter where you choose to dine.
For those wanting a comforting snack during the days, it’s also great to get Italian ice cream from Gelataria, coffee from Cafe Al Bacio, or burgers and hotdogs from the poolside bar and grill. There’s also 24 hour room service if guests wish to dine in private and enjoy the view from their balcony.
When it comes to the evening, Constellation takes on new lease of life as the daytime venues turn into lively bars and nightclubs. The highlight has to be the Solarium transforming into Liquid nightclub, complete with live circus-style performers that’ll take your breath away. Before or after dinner there is also a great range of bars and lounges to suit each evening's mood, from silent discos and piano bars to a casino. Meanwhile, in the Main Theatre, you’ll be able to see some of the best entertainment at sea including Broadway musicals and hilarious comedy.
During the day, you’ll find the social hub of the ship to be the popular swimming pool deck surrounded by jacuzzis, cabanas and loungers. There’s also an adult-only Solarium to relax in tranquility with a great range of kids clubs and activities to keep the gang entertained while you get some ‘you time’. There are plenty of other venues to keep you entertained too from shopping emporiums and art galleries to sports bars and a library.
In addition, with Celebrity Cruises' wonderfully varied Celebrity Life program, everyone will find something to suit their tastes and ignite their passions onboard Celebrity Constellation. Based on the four themes of play, revive, learn and taste, you could be learning a new language with Rosetta Stone, taking part in a cookery competition, teaming up for volleyball in the pool or attending a seminar on your favourite topic.
Along with all her sister ships in the Celebrity fleet, Celebrity Constellation is equipped with a fully modern gym along with a full circuit running track for those who like bracing walks or an early morning jog in the refreshing sea breeze.
If in AquaClass, the OneSpaWorld is open for your unlimited use as well. Here you can enjoy the heated tiled loungers of the Persian Gardens relaxation room. There are also saunas, steam rooms and bookable treatments open to all guests to make you feel truly rejuvenated.
Excellent experience Good vale for money Very well organised
9 night Mediterranean cruise: customer service by Celebrity staff was best in class - all staff were friendly and helpful and all contributed to making our time aboard special. The food was really good quality and the menus were varied and changed daily. The ship was spotlessly clean, entertainment was good, pools were good. Really couldn’t fault it at all and would absolutely book with Celebrity again. We had a Concierge Class room with balcony, which was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view as we arrived or left ports especially.
If your looking for any nightlife eg, dancing, comedians, late bars, disco don’t go on this ship, everything finishes at 11.30 the band stops and everything closes, they have a silent disco which is ridiculous just an easy evening for the DJ to go home. People are on holiday and they need to realise that the entertainment on the ship needs to go on, not put on a cd and go to bed! The food was very good the rooms a bit dated but very clean the ship needs to be up dated as it’s old but very clean. The staff are very helpful as per usual, never saw the captain at any given time. The ports were lovely around the Mediterranean but Celebrity charge huge prices to tender passengers from some ports to the mainland which is madness, if we paid for the cruise we expect to be close to amenities, it’s cheaper for the ship to go miles away and then charge passengers to come closer to ports it’s unfair and greedy. The spa is lovely but again the prices are sky high over £120 for a massage and then they expect you to add 18% gratuity and a tip! The girls hang around trying to sell overpriced products and treatments if they dropped the price they wouldn’t have a problem but they keep it high and don’t get too many customers? I have used Celebrity for over 20 years the ships are lovely but they need to be on the button with prices and I feel they have overpriced everything.
9 night Greek isles cruise travelled 6th August 19. Firstly the good points: excellent entertainment team headed by Alejxandro who put his heart and soul into keeping us entertained. Fantastic theatre acts including Vox Fourtura, Steve Womack, and violinist Craig. Our cabin steward Ahmed was polite, unobtrusive, did a good job keeping the cabin clean and fresh towels etc. What let it down for us was the bland, poor quality food served in the dining room. Waiting staff good but slow service, maybe too few staff looking after too many tables. Drinks package costs at $69 per day per person prohibitive - which showed in empty bars each evening! Those that had taken the drinks package were caught up in trying to drink their daily allowance to get their money's worth! We would not travel with Celebrity again or recommend to friends as too much of a big sell culture.
