Iglu Cruise customer reviews for Marella Explorer 2
We very much enjoyed our cruise around the Canary Islands Altougth the weather was not very good We made the most of the entertainment onboard. The evening entrainment was first class . We found the lack of directions to the toilets a bit confusing and would have appreciated more indications were they were .
There were a few problems with our booking re being told which cabit we had and the on-line check in. The ship was lovely and the staff were really great. Unfortunately the weather left a lot to be desired!
We were especially impressed with our cabin stewards, Luz, Darsa & Ana. Nothing was too much for them they were always friendly & courteous and worked very very hard
Pleasantly surprised as we found the ship really good. Boarding was the easiest we’ve ever had. We (6 of us) all had single cabins. They were small doubles and had everything we needed. Staff were all brilliant, especially in the restaurants and the food was great. Only criticism was the entertainment. Shows not great, no dancing till late and when we went into Indigo after supper it was so full we gave up! We love silent disco but there was none. The Captain’s messages about the weather were very depressing! We were on holiday and had chosen this cruise hoping for good weather so he could have given us a bit of hope but he didn’t! However, we would definitely go on this ship again. Excellent value for money.
