Upcoming changes to Cunard's Youth Programme
Cunard is elevating the Youth Programme available across its fleet, and some major changes are coming to the teen-focused facilities available onboard.
Following Queen Mary 2's refit (which is scheduled for May 2027), Cunard will introduce a consistent Youth Programme fleetwide, which will mean the dedicated Teen Zone onboard will no longer be available. Rather than focusing on the Teen Zone, activities and events tailored to guests ages 13 to 17 will be hosted around the ship, so there's still a lot to look forward to.

The whole journey was lovely. Relaxing and plenty to do. The only minor downside is that the cabin was a bit tired but no inconvenience what so ever... Over all excellent.
Queen Mary 2 is a brilliant boat. I loved the promenade deck, the food, the variety, the comfort, the welcoming and ever attentive staff. A special shout out to our cabin steward, Vincent, but not forgetting Theodore our restaurant waiter who saved us from a near disaster.
Ship was spotless and elegant. Cabin the same and very comfortable. Very different layout to many cruise ships with most. activities based on lower decks so takes a little bit of time to find your way around as some areas also for specific categories of guests making the direct route inaccessible. Food and dining no better than many other ships we have been on and small buffet area which is highly congested on sea days. Service was fine but an added service charge on every drink and not the happiest or friendliest crew compared to other ships. Feels like stepping back in time when it comes to the music and entertainment which obviously works for many of the guests. No complaints but wouldn’t be a ship of choice for us in the future and we are both 60+.
Our room was exceptionally spacious, the shower as well,. Feel that the ship is constantly pushing for spending on board, if on a budget be wise
