Norwegian joy was disappointing as on our first stop at Seattle,we were meant to dock at 1.00pm,we were told we had to have a face to face with us customs,we were eventually let of the ship at 5.30pm,we had to be back aboard for 7.00pm,there was no time to see Seattle,we had to join a long queue to get back on the boat. The stops at Astoria and San Francisco were not completely to time either. So we were not happy,NCL said nothing until the last day,where they apologised and offered 50 Dollars on board credit each,not there was no time to spend it and they would not let us bank it. So not a good first cruise with NCL.
Food and drink was good with a good choice entertainment was ok but the downside of the cruise was the very limited time ashore.
The Alaskan cruise was amazing but just had a few issues with the cabin . When the sea got a bit rough there was a dreadful banging noise from inside the wall this mostly happened at night so was hard to let someone hear it and the shower tray kept filling up with water . I was a bit worried about having an adjoining cabin but I can honestly say we never heard any noise from next door .
