Great ship, excellent crew. It certainly divides opinion in several aspects, and I suspect the haters are mostly conventional cruisers, whereas the lovers have less experience of conventional cruising. This was only our 5th cruise, but we have sailed with Celebrity twice previously on Constellation and yes, Edge is VERY different. We loved it. It is clearly more advanced technologically - the Celebrity app worked really well for us, and I understand it is being/has been, introduced on other ships in the fleet. The overwhelming feeling on board is how much space there is, in particular the Oceanview café with its high ceiling and enormous windows. Eden is an unusual and fascinating concept which we really enjoyed, but I can understand not everyone would appreciate it. The Revelation show was something special, although it is quite unclear what is going on. Just be prepared for the performers to try to interact with you if you are within reach. Quality and choice of food was very good everywhere we ate. There was plenty of variety in the entertainment and activities on board, not necessarily all to our taste. The IV cabin was designed very well, except for the IV part. The electric window and blind were very slow and noisy in operation and I heard of some people whose window stuck and had to be pushed to get it moving again. I suspect they may prove unreliable over time. Also the blind is not convenient if you want a quick peek at the outside world. Congratulations Celebrity, you have broken the mould with this ship, even if it is marmite!

I must say what a fabulous time we all had on Celebrity Equinox. We are a family of 6 and we took away Peter who celebrated his 65th Birthday on board, when we arrived back to our room there was bottle of wine and a banner that had been placed beautiful what a surprise . We all had such a wonderful, relaxing time and will definatley sail with Equinox again, the staff and crew were so friendly and nothing was to much trouble. My very best to all at Equinox. Thank you Maggie Wilbor

Last year April 2019 we booked with Iglu for a three weeks cruise with Celebrity Eclipse. Stayed in Waikiki Honolulu for one week then cruised around the Hawaiian islands for ten days and disembarked at Vancouver, Canada. While in Honolulu we stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort. It was fantastic, we met the cast of Hawaii Five 0 who were filming at the resort. Just be aware that most hotels in Hawaii charge a daily resort charge of up to 40 dollars a night. We were not made aware of this at the time of booking this holiday. But credit to Iglu, when we got back home iglu refunded all of the resort charge. The Celebrity Eclipse was fabulous , I can recommend this holiday from Iglu. Tip , extend the stay at the resorts pre and post cruise at least four to five days each side. Thank you Iglu for a great holiday. Barbara Smith.

14 day Vietnam and Thailand Cruise from Singapore to Hong Kong The cruise was very good, Celebrity is a quality cruise line a cut above the rest although you pay for the quality. Amenities : Ok Buffet : Good choice but spread out so you had to walk a distance to get everything Shows : Very Good standard Restaurant : We stayed Aqua in the Blu. Service excellent, good very good but lacking variety on desserts Ports : Ok but some eg Bangkok involved a long journey from the ports Excursions : Ok but very expensive Drinks : We got a drinks package, if you don't get one you will spend a fortune Overall: Very Good but cruises are getting more expensive every year

This was our first cruise on celebrity and as such we were looking forward to a new experience. First impressions of the ship were great. People had said she looked tatty but I do don't see that. Public rooms are lovely. Well designed and airy. The first disappointment was the cabin. It was small and there was not much feeling we were in ' concierge class'. We had been told celebrity was much more luxurious than p&o. We disagree. The welcome champagne on celebrity is not presented in an ice bucket but stuffed in the fridge and it's sparking wine. Totally different to p&o . First world issues but it was the overall theme behind everything. It felt that everything was as cheaply done as possible. It was almost impossible to get served in the bars as there were no deck staff offering drinks and barmen were in short supply, disgruntled and as one said to me when I went to the sunset bar at 10.00pm 'if you didn't come here I could have closed early'. This poor service is due to the inclusion of drinks packages in ticket costs; so the more celebrity gives you the more it costs. Food and service in the dining room and self service areas better than p&o and the passengers overall who were friendly and fantastic fun, made up for the tired miserable and often ignorant bar staff. At the end of the 11 night cruise we were asking what was 'celebrity' about the experience. We're still unsure

We have just returned from a 7 night cruise on Celebrity Xpedition and how fantastic it was! This is a superb ship but the most impressive aspect of our cruise was the sheer efficiency friendliness and knowledge of the ship's crew. From the moment we stepped on board we were looked after, entertained and educated. Our cabin was comfortable the food was excellent and varied and when we went ashore our safety was paramount. The Galapagos Islands are truly spectacular, the animals didn't disappoint and we learnt so much about them from the naturalists who are so knowledgable and share this with enthusiasm and humour. I cannot think of a negative about my Galapagos experience on Celebrity Xpedition

We had a wonderful time cruising from Venice to Barcelona from 24/8-5/9. The staff were incredibly attentive and hard working, the food was truly superb and the ship a grand old lady of the seas.

This was my first cruise. I was surprise and amazed by all the organisation that goes around us to give us a good time. Plenty beds on the pool area, very good food, entertainment, staff(most very friendly and kind) others not so much but you just have to go along the same as in life. You don't meet people every day all the time happy! I can't fault them. Our waiter was amazing and made sure we were well sorted. I highly recommend.
