The ship is lovely and clean and the staff are very pleasant and always happy to help you with anything. The shows in the night time were amazing, and the dining room meals were lovely.

Very dissatisfied with Iglu and the ship. Iglu asigned us a balcony room but did not notify us that we had a restricted view - the view was of the spare propeller. Also not notified that there was no transfer from hotel to port and on our return the arranged taxi transfer to the airport did not turn up forcing us to pay for another taxi. Will not be booking with Iglu again. Regarding the ship - was far too big. No escaping the thousands of people. Food was disgusting and cold. We had asked for a table of two which we got but the other tables were positioned three inches away so we may as well of been sitting on a table of ten!!

Great cruise

A great ship. Very big, 5.5k passengers, so not very personal. Food okay in restaurants...not so good in buffets. Shows good quality but short and repeated weekly. Entertainment sadly lacking. Pool areas, swamped on sea days.

Spent the first week of April aboard Seaside and could not be happier. Outstanding ship and have only praise for the organisation and the staff. Food was excellent as was the cleanliness in all arrears. Seemed like nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended and will certainly be joining an MSC ship again!

Just before Christmas, we were unlucky enough to take a two week cruise around the Carribean onboard MSC Seaside. On the first day, I managed to get food poisoning from chicken in one of the buffet restaurants. I did make a complaint the next day and even though the man at reception was very sympathetic and said someone would speak to me but that never happened. Also, the food in the buffet restaurant was only warm on the best of days. The air conditioning was up far too high and most of the passengers were wearing jumpers in the evening and not forgetting we were in the Carribean. Piped music around the ship both inside and outside was relentless and drove us nuts there was nowhere to get away from it. The shows only lasted for 30 minutes tops and as I said we were on for two weeks the second week was a repeat of the first week. I have to say the cabin was one of the best we have ever had but unfortunately, there was no tea or coffee I had to go out for it and we do like a nice cuppa first thing in the morning. The crew were on the whole very good but quite a few didn't undersand English which meant it made life a bit difficult sometimes. Our first port of call we arrived in the dark after being at sea for a day and a half and we didn't get a chance to see much of it.

Recently sailed out of Miami in the Seaside. A stunning ship and typical of MSC style. Very glitzy on board but relaxed and informal. Miami pool can get a bit busy with families as this is the main pool for entertainment and outdoor screening but further along there is an amazing water park on board for the kids and adults alike. The Jugle pool is all weather. Cabins clean and tidy, adequate for a 7 day cruise though consider upgrading if doing a back to back cruise. Ports of call good. Beware that the Caribbean is very humid! So air con on board was a pleasing.
