Dining onboard Enchanted Princess can either be traditional – with consistent tables, waiters, and mealtimes – or casual, with Anytime Dining. The latter option means you can eat anytime between 5.30pm and 10pm alongside fellow cruisers or just with your own party.
Restaurants onboard all offer different cuisines while still maintaining a high standard of luxury food and service throughout the ship. Princess Cruises’ team of expert chefs take fresh, local ingredients and transform them into undeniably delicious dishes. The main dining room offers a varied menu, including dishes created by award-winning chef, Curtis Stone, and decadent chocolate desserts by master chocolatier Norman Love.
The fantastic World Fresh Marketplace provides a wonderful range of options, from elegant French crepes to Asian noodles. Head here for an authentic taste of international food. Similarly, the International Café offers all kinds of food 24-hours a day. Whether you want a simple croissant and coffee or a tasty, fresh salad, this venue will satisfy all palates.
For a special occasion, or if you simply feel like trying somewhere new, there are several themed restaurants onboard, some of which include an extra fee:
Many guests also enjoy partaking in Princess Cruises’ delightful afternoon tea experience. Feel like royalty while white-gloved waiting staff serve a variety of teas or coffees along with finger sandwiches, cakes and cookies.
Entertainment is waiting around almost every corner onboard Enchanted Princess, with pop-up live displays akin to street performances in the Piazza, live music, theatrical shows, deck parties and enriching lectures.
The Princess Theatre is home to some impeccable Broadway-style productions, complete with elaborate sets, plush seating and state-of-the-art lighting. Get swept up in a world of music, lights and dance, watching a range of shows from all over the world – both classic and modern. A lovely alternative to this evening entertainment is a romantic experience snuggled up on the top deck with Movies Under the Stars. Here you can sit back and watch one of your all-time favourites, or a new blockbuster. You can also find live sports screened here, and sometimes concerts.
The Vista Show Lounge is a comfortable area with a wonderful menu of cocktails and other drinks, as well as entertainment including live music, comedy and illusionists. Alternatively, Princess Live is a spacious and welcoming area where all kinds of entertainment take place. Pop along to find live music, comedians, quizzes and game shows. You’ll also find plenty of chances for dancing and listening to music in the piano bar, nightclub and top deck parties.
Bellini’s is a great choice for a casual evening in a vibrant setting. Sip on a fresh cocktail and socialise with new friends, all with the atmospheric backdrop of a European style piazza. In addition there’s Crooners, offering a more sophisticated ambience, with Sinatra-esque music and old-school alcoholic drinks like martinis and daiquiris. If this sounds more up your street, you'll also love Take 5 jazz lounge where you can hear jazz music from across the ages and even take part in dance lessons.
In keeping with the Princess Cruises philosophy of enlightening guests and immersing them in new cultures, on selected sailings Enchanted Princess hosts Festivals of the World. These might entail parties with international music, folkloric performances or other cultural experiences.
If you so wish, there is even the option to spend an evening in the lively atmosphere of the onboard casino. Here, you can play a range of games including 21, Texas Hold ‘Em and, of course, the slot machines. For something just as thrilling, there’s The Voice of the Ocean singing contest. Be brave and show the crowd what you’ve got in this onboard singing competition.
If you’re on a family cruise, kids and teens are kept well entertained through Princess Cruises’ youth centres, which are grouped according to age:; 3-7, 8-12, and 13-17. Additionally, family-friendly shore excursions make Princess Cruises an ideal choice for a family cruise.
To make the cruise even more interesting for all the family, Princess Cruises has teamed up with Discovery, and now offer some great educational and inspiring experiences – both onboard and ashore. Cruisers can take part in star-gazing on the top deck, and attend Encounters with Discovery at SEA speaker series, not to mention watch a number of Discovery and Animal Planet TV documentaries onboard.
Adults looking to get away from the bustle of the rest of the ship will love spending time in the Sanctuary. Here there are eight private cabanas with waiting staff on hand to deliver drinks, nibbles, towels and water atomizers. Meanwhile, for the ultimate refuge, treat yourself to an outdoor massage.
Also onboard is the gorgeous Lotus Spa. Head here to relax, unwind and indulge in a rejuvenating treatment such as a full body wrap, a facial or a massage. Alternatively, you can simply spend time in the Enclave, which boasts a thermal suite, hydrotherapy pool, heated stone beds, waterbeds, a Hammam, Caldarium and Laconium. There’s even a well-equipped salon on hand, should you wish to get a pedicure or new haircut for example.
The Lotus Spa also offers an extensive fitness centre. Here, you can make use of all the latest equipment and take part in classes including yoga and boot camp.
When enjoying the warm sun on a cruise holiday, at some point you’ll likely want to cool off with a dip in the pool. There are several to choose from on Enchanted Princess, including two deep pools on the top deck and an infinity-style pool at the aft, offering wonderful views of the surrounding ocean.
Stay active and have some fun on your cruise by making the most of the onboard sports court. Here, you can play volleyball or basketball with your own party and fellow guests.
In addition, guests interested in the finer things in life will love the onboard Champagne Art Auctions, art gallery and art history lectures. Come along and see some stunning pieces and bid on any that speak to you. Before the end of the cruise, it’s worth browsing the great selection of souvenirs in the onboard shops, which are of course tax and duty-free.
I would hate to be on this ship with a full passenger list. With only 1800 passengers there were no spare sun beds around the pools or space to put more. Do not book any cabins on the back as soot from the funnel was on the handrail and the balcony floor.
Ship was beautiful. Staff very friendly, helpful and hardworking. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a mini suite- thank you Princess! Felt very spoilt . Food was excellent. My only disappointment was the daily entertainment around the pool on the lido deck. The only time the “Entertainment team” were present was on one sail away day . I thought there would be more fun activities. Evening entertainment was fabulous, especially the singer on the last night, Phillip Browne - what a voice! Overall, the cruise was fantastic and totally recommend.
Good ship with excellent service i think we benefitted from only being half full but that was to our pleasure.
Cruise new and clean. Staff of any rank on board are courteous and cordial, and the service attitude is very good.
