Customer reviews for Eurodam
Overall good cruise, very relaxing, service excellent. Evening entertainment could be a little more varied and a little repetitive . Food generally excellent although served a little cold on several occasions in MDR
Service on ship was excellent especially the room stewards. All the crew were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent -portion sizes very generous. Entertainment on the World Stage was average and the excursions were expensive.
The Eurodam is a small ship but is in need of refurbishment. We had an Upper Verandah cabin 6134 which had a good size balcony but our bathroom sink had a bad crack. Even though there is no stand alone shower the power from the shower was very good. We took a 12 day Eastern Caribbean cruise which did mean we saw a repeat of some shows. This also was the same in the dining room as a vegetarian menu but my husband was very pleased with the choice.
I hadn’t traveled abroad for 15 years, and the world has changed since then so I was apprehensive about everything I had to do to get this holiday booked, ensuring I had everything in place to avoid any potential problems. I felt confident booking the cruise with Dan at iglu and found the customer services team to be very helpful when I needed their assistance. I booked an overnight stay at the Hilton Garden Inn at Heathrow through iglu / holiday extras, which was the right thing to do ahead of a 9.40am flight the next day. Staff at the Hilton were very helpful. Virgin Atlantic staff throughout the holiday were very helpful. I would’ve liked them to have announced as the flight home departed when meals were going to be served as I was planning to sleep on the 22.45 flight home and nearly missed the meals. Transfers throughout the holiday went smoothly as did the embarkation and disembarkation process at the ship. The cruise was very good and what made it for me was HAL arranging meet and greets for single and solo travellers like myself so I was able to socialise with people throughout the cruise. I’m not ready to book another cruise yet, but would book through iglu in the future and would recommend them to friends together with the Hilton, Virgin Atlantic and HAL. I only gave the shore excursions a rating of 3 as I didn’t do any, preferring to go ashore independently on a couple of occasions. The Have it all package was good, but there were internet connectivity issues on some days which were frustrating.
