If you’re looking for some active fun that brings the family together, look no further than minigolf, table tennis and more at the Sports & Family Deck, where you can challenge your loved ones to a bit of friendly competition.
As important as it is to spend time together as a family, there are also plenty of opportunities to hangout separately. Kids and teens are well catered for with dedicated areas including the fully stocked Gamer Zone, while adults can enjoy some peace and quiet lounging about on the Balinese beds on The Veranda.
Everyone can cool off outdoors while onboard Marella Explorer as there is a swimming pool, multiple whirlpools and a kids Splash Pad with baby mini-slide.
Marella Explorer is the perfect choice for a week of pampering, thanks to the renowned Oceans Spa and Beauty Salon. Offering a range of treatments including polishes, couples massages and other sumptuous delights, it’s the perfect opportunity to recharge and refresh on your cruise.
As well as these wonderful facilities, the ship is equipped with a state-of-the-art gym which is kitted out with all the essentials for an intensive workout.
Days at sea can be enjoyed just as much as shore excursions on Marella Explorer. One of the most popular places to spend the afternoon is the pool deck, where as well as the pool there are various whirlpools in which to relax and enjoy the ocean views. However, if you’d like some respite from the sun then head inside and browse what’s on offer. From a well-stocked library and coffee shops to boutiques and a photo studio, there’s no end of ways to keep you occupied during your free time on the ship.
The ship, the crew, the food and service were fabulous. However, the entertainment i.e. the evening show was pretty dire.
Good holiday, very relaxing. Booked more tours than usual because done this trip before and know the port areas.
Buffet restaurant food was very poor, lack of choice. The ship is run like a holiday camp, quite difficult to find some peace and quiet. TUI excursions are far too expensive, rip off. Entertainment amateurish.
Ship is not as new, as some of the bigger ones out there, but is very clean and not as crowded as some of the bigger ones. Food was excellent as was the service we received from every member of the crew. A very friendly ship with plenty of places to sit and relax, with a drink if you so desire.
