Adonia, embarked on her final cruise with P&O Cruises on 23rd February 2018, a two week round-trip to and from Barbados. She originally joined the fleet in April 2010, replacing the popular Artemis. She joined Fathom Impact Travel for a short period in 2016 before moving back to P&O Cruises in 2017. Having been a well-loved vessel offering some fabulous adult-only itineraries, P&O Cruises have stated that many of the discovery itineraries that were so popular will be available on their other ships.

With eight classically styled decks, beautifully crafted decor and capacity for 710 passengers she is the most intimate ship in the P&O Cruises fleet.

Adonia offers a cruise with real charm and elegance. The amenities are extensive, but not over-whelming and the atmosphere onboard is polite and calming.

P&O Adonia, at only 180 metres in length can reach places and ports larger cruise ships can't and as a result will visit lesser known and more intimate locations as well as classic ports of call.  This summer Adonia will be sailing from Southampton on Western Mediterranean cruises including calls to Portofino and Puerto Banus.  Adonia will also sail to Iceland and around the British Isles.  During the winter Adonia will be sailing under sunny skies and through the warm waters of the Caribbean and South America.

Ahead of Adonia's summer 2017 sailing season, furnishings and facilities have received an update. New lighter fabrics and refreshed soft furnishings create a comfortable and stylish ambiance onboard. A selection of comfortable cabin types are available with amenities including: Ensuite bathroom, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, refrigerator, safe, TV, radio and telephone, air-conditioning.
