One Amazing Sea Day on Arvia

To showcase all of the incredible included amenities and features onboard P&O Arvia, P&O Cruises recently released a guest-led content series. Within the series, One Amazing Sea Day, guests onboard the ship gave testimonials about their experiences. A fascinating insight into what it’s like to enjoy a cruise on the ship, it gives people a flavour of what they can expect when booking an P&O Arvia cruise.

Julie and Peter Barrett

“Arvia is elegant, opulent, friendly and easy to navigate. The crew are amazing, and the cabins are out of this world. We’ve been walking around the deck and have done Fitsteps this morning, which put us through our paces. It’s a free dance exercise class for all ages and all abilities, which is wonderful.”

“And the gym’s great. I’ve been to spin classes and we’ve enjoyed swimming. We’ve watched a lot of acts in the Grand Atrium. We joined a singing class this morning, which was fun. The cinema looks great, too. There are so many different venues for eating and so many different venues for entertainment. We’re just able to do our own thing.”

William Watson, Holly Ellison-Foster and Liam Ellison-Foster

“We’re having a great time. We’ve just had breakfast and been at the Infinity Pool. We did mini-golf yesterday and we’re loving all the dining options. I’ve been on a few cruises and there’s usually just the main dining room and the buffet. There’s so much choice here with so many different cuisines.”

“We love 6th Street Diner – we were there last night and we’re going there again for lunch now. It’s surprising the things you don’t have to pay for, especially with all the different restaurant options. It’s very good value for money.”

“The entertainment’s been really good. We went to the Headliners Theatre last night. The performance, the singing and the dancing were mega. We’ve been taking full advantage of the gym every morning and we’re looking forward to the cinema – there are some good films on.”

"We were a bit worried about booking into restaurants, but the virtual queue is a gamechanger (on the My Holiday App). It’s so easy. You’re in your room getting ready and you get the message… no waiting, nice and easy. You can’t beat it.”

Ben, Alesha and Bodhi Smith

“We’ve been with Bodhi at Turtle Tots this morning, which was really good. He just loved the lights, the balls, the cuddly toys and meeting other babies. It’s free, which is good as you normally pay a lot for sensory classes at home. There’s that much going on – really good, quality stuff. The Olive Grove and 6th Street Diner (we loved the American-style burgers and ribs) were both excellent and the buffet’s mega! There’s just so much choice. We’ve been to the gym every morning. It’s really good.

“The staff are really friendly. We love the fact that everything’s so well organised and easy. I can’t believe more people with kids don’t do cruise holidays. It’s definitely good value for money. We planned a few holidays out and the fact that the flights and the food are all in makes it great value. It’s our first cruise and we’ll be coming again. I’d definitely recommend it, especially to younger families.”
