What is next for Queen Anne?
Currently sailing to some of the world's most sought-after holiday destinations as Cunard's flagship vessel, Queen Anne has an exciting few years ahead.

Only launched in May 2024, the ship will play a central role in Liverpool's Four Queens celebration in May 2028, followed by a final Cunard World Voyage in January 2029.
After completing the final segment of this 2028/29 World Voyage, Queen Anne will leave the Cunard fleet. Before joining P&O Cruises in May 2029, the ship will undergo an extensive refurbishment and will also be renamed. More information about this ship's new name and all the exciting changes you can look forward to enjoying will be available soon. So, watch this space.
What does this mean for P&O Cruises?
What does all of this actually mean for P&O Cruises? Well, once Queen Anne has been beautifully reimagined, it will introduce a brand-new class of ship to P&O Cruises' fleet. This fantastic addition is set to give guests even more choice, offering a different scale, a fresh style of onboard experience, and an exciting range of itineraries. Again, more information on this will be available soon.
Saying farewell to Arcadia
It's not all about new additions in 2029, though; it's also time to prepare for a heartfelt goodbye to Arcadia, which has been sailing with P&O Cruises since its debut in 2005. Arcadia will officially exit the P&O Cruises fleet in August 2029.

Arcadia's celebratory farewell season is going to be one to remember, and details on the sailings you can book yourself onboard are set to be announced soon. Then, after this exciting farewell season with P&O Cruises, Arcadia will join the Holland America Line fleet, being renamed and undergoing its own set of exciting refurbishments and upgrades. More information on what to expect will be available soon.
The future for Cunard's fleet
With Queen Anne moving on from Cunard, it's expected that this cruise line will focus on a more unified fleet of three classic ships from 2029 onwards.

Ahead of this, though, some exciting improvements are on the way. Queen Victoria is scheduled for an imminent dry-dock refurbishment. Meanwhile, Queen Mary 2 will be heading for a major shipyard makeover in 2027 to ensure this one-of-a-kind ocean liner continues to delight guests. Queen Elizabeth will also remain a key part of this classic three-ship fleet, with refurbishments also being made in due course.
