The adaption of state-of-the-art technology has become the new normal on cruise ships, as is each cruise line's attempts at creating a seamless and exciting onboard experience – and, importantly, keeping both guests and crew safe at sea. If you're wondering whether you can take advantage of a P&O Cruises cruise personaliser during your sailing, you'll be pleased to know that P&O Cruises joins cruise lines like Royal Caribbean and MSC Cruises in offering a mobile app that does exactly that.

With My Holiday, P&O Cruises customers can manage reservations, make contactless payments, enter virtual queues, and more. All of this saves you time, helps you plan ahead, and keeps you safe during your stay onboard. P&O Cruises new My Holiday app

P&O Cruises' New App

P&O Cruises' new cruise personaliser is called My Holiday, and has been created to streamline your onboard experience. Simply download the app onto your mobile or tablet and start using it as soon as you get onto the ship; you don't even need WiFi or mobile data!

If you want to know what you can do with the My Holiday app, we have a handy list of all the features currently available below:

While these are just the features which are currently available, P&O Cruises is always trying to make your experience onboard even more effortless and enjoyable. So, expect even more features to be available as the app and P&O Cruises' My Holiday service continues to be developed.

Is My Holiday available on all P&O Cruises ships?

Yes, My Holiday is available across P&O Cruises' fleet – but, the features available vary from ship to ship. As you can see below, right now, the full suite of features is only available on Arvia and Iona.

Britannia, Ventura, and Azura all enjoy almost all of the features available – only lacking entertainment booking management services. Meanwhile, Aurora and Arcadia can only be used to manage your on-board account, book shore excursions, browse sample menus, and book specialty dining experiences.

More Cruise Line Technology

It's not just P&O Cruises who have introduced handy apps and technology to help make your time onboard run smoothly. Royal Caribbean's Muster 2.0 gives guests the chance to check-in online, change their stateroom lighting from their phone and do the muster safety drill from the comfort of their cabin.

As well as the MSC For Me app, MSC Cruises also have wearable technology which is used for contact tracing, payments and unlocking your cabin, while Princess Cruises' OceanMedallion turns a small device into everything from your keycard to your wallet and much more. Marella Cruises have also developed Cruise Control, an online hub where guests can do check-in, fill in their health questionnaire, book online excursions and more. You can read more about these advancements on our cruise ship technology blog.
