We enjoyed everything about the cruise. Our cabin was fabulous with a complimentary bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates, bathrobes and slippers. Our cabin steward, Sukron was lovely, friendly and efficient. Shuttle buses available at Gijon to explore the town. Santander was great with an unexpected extra day to explore. It was disappointing not to get to La Rochelle but the safety of everybody on board takes precedent. All crew were absolutely great. Entertainment was good, as usual. Headliners cast work so hard to deliver really good shows. We enjoyed the extensive choice of food at the buffets for breakfast and the meals in Bay Tree Restaurant, waited on by friendly staff. The extra day sailing due to the storms were understandably bumpy as the waves were huge! However the staff worked hard to make our extra time on board as pleasant as possible. Overall, the cruise was just as good as I had expected having taken several P&O cruises and this, my third cruise on Ventura.
What a great week, very eventful with the 2 storms, captain made clear anouncements and we got a extra day for the safety of everyone on board, The staff are excellent, always friendly and smiley, Only ate in the buffet this time food was good and plenty of choice. Tables were available even at busy times. Hygiene around ship was second to none, wiping up tables after each use, banisters, toilets etc. We booked 2 trips as an extra day in port, trip was very good seeing places you prob wouldnt visit normally Entertainment and shows very good. All in all a vgood experience and would book again Would highly recommend
Ok 7 nights on P&O Ventura!! Absolutely bloody fantastic!!! Boarding easy , cabin perfect , spacious, clean , comfortable, comes with absolutely everything you need , staff = second to none, courteous, so helpful, always had a smile on their faces. Food absolutely yummy and the meal at the Beach House was delicious, the best stake I’ve ever had. Entertainment was amazing, from the shows at the Arena to the bingo in Havana it was all so good. The ship itself is a timeless classic, comfortable, homely and just a lovely place to be. Would I recommend P&o …. Without a second thought, pls if your thinking of doing a cruise do a P&o Ventura cruise you will not be disappointed . Roll on Next year for the next one !!!
Firstly the on board staff, what an absolute credit to P&O. So helpful and with constant smiles on they're faces, really made the trip. Facilities were cleaned regularly and are modern and easily accessible with bathrooms situated throughout the ship. Evening entertainment is a good variety of music comedy and general entertainment in various venues throughout the ship
