A range of great shore excursions are available - here are our favourites.

1. Statue of Liberty, New York

Statue Of Liberty
One of the most iconic statues in the world, we highly recommend a tour to take a closer look and learn more about this fascinating monument. Once you board your ferry and sail past the amazing skyline of New York City you will arrive at Liberty Island, where you will stand right next to the Statue of Liberty.  The ferry is free, and worthwhile on a nice day, even if you don't get to the statue!  Your guide will tell you the history behind Lady Liberty, as well as walk you around the grounds, pointing out the main points of interest. This tour is great for those that want to get closer to the action, rather than just view the statue from afar.

Before closing in 1963, Alcatraz held some of the United States' most dangerous and well-known criminals, including infamous gangster Al Capone.
