Embarkation very straightforward and easy as was disembarkation! We were disappointed with food on board and selection very much same everyday was not that impressed with restaurant food either ! The best meals we had were in the speciality restaurant we went twice ! We found a lot of very rude passengers on board ! Two of our excursions cancelled! The places we visited we did enjoy however! The value for money was good !

Myself, my husband and my son - balcony cabin. The extra space was good, however, the sofa bed was against the dresser, which had a stool underneath, therefore unable to sit at it to dry my hair etc. I had to sit on a cushion on the metal frame of the bed. The sockets for plugs were so low down - almost against the dresser, my plugs (being European and American) didn't fit. We had to hire an extension cable from reception - $30, which was refunded on leaving. These were the only sockets, so charging 3 phones and using hairstyler, wasn't great. The entertainment was good but no Broadway type shows compared to other cruiselines . Lovely lounge and bar areas and singers, musicians etc were all good and always something going on. Outside entertainment really good. Deck parties really good. Silent disco was great. The main dining room menu was fine, but a bit repetitive and the meat was sometimes fatty and I had to return a few mains as they were cold. Service was slow but staff very nice and helpful. Used the buffet more. Had a great holiday - islands were all lovely. Stunning beaches. Would sail with MSC again, but on a newer ship.

I didn't make use of the entertainment, activities, or excursions so cannot really comment. Hence the negative response.

Had a wonderful cruise apart from the accident with my granddaughters switch game in the cabin.

Lovely ship. friendly staff, fantastic food, amazing value, impressive facilities. Photographer's pester too much, excursion rules terrible, swabbing stressfully too late in the embarking process (should be done on arrival, not whilst waiting to board the ship with key cards in hand and excited children)

Service was excellent throughout the ship. The crew couldn't have been more helpful. I think this ship might feel a little crowded if it was at full capacity, although there are plenty of bars dotted around the public areas.

Had a great holiday and would book again. Overall most things were excellent or based on price were good value. Due to shortage of guests compared to the staff on board on occasion at breakfast the attention was a little too much (being asked 19 times if everything is ok in one sitting). There were areas where there was a need for some more attention being paid - filling out passenger locater forms - this exercise on board was fairly frustrating and usually with one lady trying to help everyone. Clearer instructions could help those of us who could have cracked on with the form would have given her more time to spend with those guests who needed a bit more hand holding.Cabin was immaculate, entertainment team were very friendly, bar and waiting staff were excellent.

Excellent value for money. Great cruise, staff on board couldn't be more helpful. Thanks for arranging everything.

This was the first 'Budget' cruise we have taken and were pleasantly surprised with the ship and its staff. The Magnifica had seemingly been refurbed over the last year as everything was sparklingly clean and new. Decor of the ship and cabin was a little boring - certainly no wow factor. Food was OK - buffet was bland to cater for the mainly European guests. Service in the restaurant was excellent the waiters as with all the staff were well trained , friendly, pleasant and helpful Facilities on board were adequate - though not many toilets dotted around each deck. The itinerary and shore excursions were fine though we opted to simply get off the ship at each destination catch a coach/bus to wherever and do our own thing. Because of the size of the ship it was usually berthed well away from the destination and so not possible to walk from the ship to the centre.Entertainment - the nightly shows in the theatre were enjoyable - excellent dancers and the singers were good but not outstanding however infinitely better than the singers in the various bars mid ship. Covid precautions were well thought out and complied with which made the on board and ashore experience a little less relaxing however we felt safe and not at undue risk at any time. Reduced passenger capacity meant that there were plenty of service staff. Overall the cruise was very good value and one that we would take again - hopefully after Covid and in better weather.

Ship was beautiful. The only thing that let it down was the entertainment.
