(Staff Review) I was in an obstructed view outside cabin. You didn't get much of a view but was good if you just want a bit of day light in the cabin. I was impressed with the size of the cabin, very spacious. The bathroom was a decent size and especially the shower. I saw the show and didn't go in expecting much but actually found it to be very entertaining. It definitely held your attention and some of the acts were quite original to what I had seen on other lines. I thought the ship on the whole was beautiful. Very well designed. I loved the tiger bar allot thought it was a lovely area and loved the colour scheme. Definitely had the Wow Factor! I think that for the price of some of their cruises its definitely great value for money. The standard of the ship, size of cabins etc is great for what you pay. I have seen other Cruise lines charge allot more for in my opinion for something less impressive to the eye. I think this will be good for 1st time Cruisers and families. Someone looking for a good deal without compromising on the quality of the ship.

(Staff Review) We had an outside clear view cabin on deck 5, it was larger than equivalent cabins I have seen on other ships and would suit a family of four. The bathroom design made very good use of space. I didn't see any entertainment but saw the theatre when it was empty, very impressive with good eye line to the stage from wherever you sat. The public rooms were very lavish in true Italian style; I particularly liked the L'Olimpiade Sporting bar, filled with sports memorabilia. The open deck areas were well laid out, there were even palm trees by the pool! There was a very nice bar area with plenty of space and seating for those wishing to just enjoy a drink rather than soak up the rays. The restaurant was very comfortable and despite its size still had a feeling of intimacy due to the layout of the tables. The menu on the night we ate was very varied, something to suit everyone. This ship is suitable for everyone, couples marking a celebration can upgrade to a balcony suite for a very reasonable supplement and families can take advantage of the relatively spacious standard cabins.

(Staff Review) We had an outside cabin which we found to be really spacious and well designed. We had a few reservations regarding the number of storage areas. The whole ship has that wow factor that you expect from Italian designed products. Great materials, very tasty fittings throughout and definitely a cut above the competition which is mostly American. I did not get a chance to experience the shows, but the casino proved to be a real winner. Great machines and the staff makes losing/winning money great fun. If I had any quibbles they would be regarding the service in the main dining room which was a bit haphazard. On the whole, I believe Magnifica will be a hit especially with first time cruisers. She looks stunning, cabins are at least as good or better than those offered by competition and the whole experience feels really special. Great pricing is another bonus.

(Staff Review) I visited MSC Magnifica for a 2 night stay in Dover, before she was named. Unfortunately we didn't sail anywhere but got a great chance to experience the ship. I stayed in a Deluxe balcony cabin on the 14th deck, which was extremely spacious with lots of wardrobe space and a large seating area. The cabin was in a quiet area of the ship with tremendous views. I really enjoyed the Tiger bar for cocktails and cabaret entertainment - very lively and fun. The sports bar was great for watching the rugby with large screens throughout.
