One of the most iconic moments you can witness on a cruise ship is as you sail past the Statue of Liberty on a Cruise from New York. One of the most cosmopolitan, welcoming and friendly cities you will ever visit New York is a fantastic place to start or finish a cruise. With cruises from Southampton and fly cruises both available we can offer the perfect cruise to get you there.
Firstly let me say the ship was great and the ports of call too. However the car taking us from the airport to the hotel was late, secondly the hotel was dated and our room was tiny and thirdly we had to share our car from the hotel to the ship. This was not a good beginning. We enjoyed the ship, the staff were very friendly and helpful but the entertainment wasn’t all up to the standard we have come to expect. Overall an enjoyable experience.
Lovely destinations and great ship
Beautiful ports of call. All different in so many ways
Fantastic holiday with family …Princess cruise line was the best by far , and we have been on many. The high quality of the ship, food, drinks package and service was as good as it gets!!! The booking through Iglu was also straight forward and was dealt with by a really competent and helpful consultant. . Thankyou. Two exciting nights in N York allowed us to participate is some of many activities. On arrival to JFK, we had a limo taxi transfer booked to our hotel in Manhattan. What a limo! Seven seater, leather luxury spacious, perfectly clean and with a driver who made us welcome and imparted his local knowledge. The perfect start, with enthusiasm!!! We arrived at our hotel at circa 7 pm and the “The Westin New York Grand Central ” was busy, but very efficient and the bar staff offered a complimentary drink. Rooms were nicely furnished with a great bed and linen. That same evening we arrived we went out on the town before taking the open topped bus to see the skyline of NewYork by night. “Brilliant” After a good nights sleep, we took to walk up to the NY Plaza hotel, via Trump Tower and Tifffanys, before taking dinner for a NY Breakfast. After taking another big black limo taxi, we arrived at Ground Zero, near the southern end of Manhattan and paid our respects… Taking the NY underground we traveled to the bottom end of the “Highline” and walked up to the “The Edge” for a 6. 30pm appointment, to see the whole Manhattan from the sky, outside , standing on a glass floor way above any other skyscrapers. Wow!!! Finally, we all took an evening meal each having a 12 oz NY Strip Beef Steak. What a day!!! The following morning we were picked up in yet another luxury’s limo… ( arranged by Iglu) to take us to the Princess Cruise ship terminal…. From then on … we were looked after on board Enchanted Princess and fine dined for all 7 days. Great helpful staff, nothing too much trouble and the ship was as good as it gets, even with another infinity pool at the stern! We enjoyed our trip and voted it to be the very best yet. ( after probably 14 to 16 cruises on many other cruise lines) We have now booked again! Through “ Iglu” This time to the West Coast of the USA On with the next!!!
Perfect sail away with the Statue of Liberty so near.
Had a wonderful holiday booked through iglu. Everything was seamless and from booking to end the organisation was amazing ! Our carnival cruise was lovely and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or book with them again
From arrival to departure we were treated to a wonderful experience of the highest quality. To dine in such opulence with professional, courteous staff and be entertained every evening finished off our day.
