The Mediterranean is a fantastic location for a fly cruise and why not begin your holiday out of one of Europe's most historic ports with a cruise from Barcelona? Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia and was founded as a Roman city before joining the Kingdom of Aragon. At 2000 years old the port is one of the oldest and most historic in Europe as well as one of the largest.
Very close to the terminal , even though our car didn’t show up which we’d paid for , we were able to get a taxi to the terminal
Sailing from Barcelona was great. Such a short journey from our city centre hotel to the cruise terminal. The cruise terminal was bright and spacious. Staff were efficient and welcoming.
No problems encountered at the Barcelona cruise terminal, the queue moved fairly quickly and we was enjoying the facilities of the Queen Victoria before lunchtime. The staff were very efficient and the whole process was good. Disembarkation was easy and plenty of taxis at the port.
Check in and boarding wwas quick and efficient with minimum queuing. The cruise itself was enjoyable without being exceptional with fairly smooth sailing most of the time, Captains announcements were informative, entertainment was very good, although some venues were quite crowded and difficult to find a seat. Table seating at dinner was as we requested each night and the service and food were of good quality.
we have sailed out of barcelona before. everything went as well as one can expect given the high number of passengers. 😀
