Crystal Cruises offer unique, all-inclusive luxury cruises. As well as the attentive crew and luxurious ship setting, guests can expect unrivalled dining and customisable shore excursions, meaning you can get exactly what you want out of your cruise holiday. What's more, everything is made that little bit easier thanks to the extensive list of included amenities and services. From dining to housekeeping, room service and pre-paid gratuities, everything you need for the holiday of a lifetime is already included in your fare thanks to Crystal Cruises.
Having been named the Ultra Luxury Cruise Line of the Year 2020 in the TTG Luxury Travel Awards, it's no surprise that Crystal Cruises are the perfect choice for cruisers looking for a 6-star luxury dining experience during their cruise.
In addition to the main dining rooms, where the dedicated team of highly-experienced chefs use the freshest ingredients and premium cuts of meat and seafood to create unforgettable dishes, there are also several speciality dining venues for guests to enjoy including Prego, Silk Road, Umi Uma and The Vintage Room.
It is worth noting that to avoid disappointment, it's highly recommended that guests book their table in these speciality venues in advance, although walk-ins are accepted dependent on availability.
To make things easier for guests and to ensure that mealtimes fit around their schedule, open seated dining serves dinner between 6pm and 9:30pm with the freedom to eat as and when you wish. Alternatively, you can order room service any evening to dine in your stateroom for those nights when you just don't fancy dressing up for dinner.
Nights onboard a Crystal Cruise ship can be as lively or as relaxed as you choose. After a busy day of discovering each incredible destination, there's no better way to unwind than in one of the ships' bars, where professional bartenders are more than happy to whip up the drink of your choice. Enjoy the ocean views and a quiet evening, or some interesting conversation with fellow sailors.
However, for those wanting to make their evenings a little more special, guests are treated to world-class performances from talented entertainers every night of their cruise, such as award-winning Broadway-style shows including Rocket Man!: a tribute to Elton John.
Travel in luxury to some of the most beautiful corners of the world with Crystal Cruises. Between the two ships, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, guests can cruise the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Caribbean, Panama Canal, South America, Australasia and the Far East.
When it comes to exploring these destinations, Crystal Adventures, the Crystal shore excursions team, have more than 2000 itineraries, including everything from bucket-list, adrenaline pumping thrills to "voluntourism" excursions.
During your time spent on these luxury ships, there are plenty of activities onboard Crystal Cruises which cater for all ages and tastes. No matter whether you're looking for something enriching, active pursuits or a leisurely few hours of relaxation, there are endless ways while away your time onboard.
For those who'd like to use their holiday to learn a new skill to show off when they return home, there are a range of classes to choose from, including golf and dance lessons, art classes, Computer University@Sea and workshops on filmmaking.
For those wanting to learn more about the destinations visited, there are a series of programmes available for guests:
Though you may be on holiday, those who enjoy staying active will love the onboard facilities which range from a gym with state-of-the art fitness equipment and fitness classes including yoga and Pilates to Tai Chi and paddle tennis.
While it may be fun to get involved in all the activities offered by Crystal Cruises, there is also plenty of time to sit back and enjoy life at sea at your own pace. Whether you choose to pamper yourself at the spa, enjoy some peace and quiet at the library or watch a film, winding down on holiday has never been easier.
Crystal Cruises empower guests and crew to give back with their ‘You Care, We Care’ programme, working with communities all around the world. The programme offers an opportunity to experience countries in an authentic way, while contributing to the surrounding society. Take part in excursions such as participating in activities with the elderly at the Granitos de Paz Foundation in Columbia, preparing meals at The Smile of a Child organisation in Corinth, assisting at the San Francisco Food Bank and planting trees at the Heidmork Natural Reserve in Iceland.
Crystal Serenity offers accessible cabins of a variety of grades, including outside cabins, balcony staterooms and suites. Crystal Symphony only offers disabled access cabins in outside staterooms and suites. Where possible Crystal Cruises try to arrange lifts on tour buses that can accommodate wheelchairs and passengers with mobility needs.
Before being allowed onboard guests must have completed a Declaration of Safety, to declare that they are fit to travel, and have their temperature taken. Luggage will be disinfected before being loaded.
Once onboard, changes will include a reduced ship capacity and reduced capacity within public areas to ensure that social distancing can be maintained. Temperature checks will take place before entering public areas and dining will become contactless.
In addition to their already rigorous cleaning procedures, Crystal will increase the frequency with which they clean suites and staterooms, public areas and high touch points such as buttons and handrails. To encourage handwashing, sanitiser stations will be conveniently placed across the ships.
Before boarding, crew must provide a negative COVID-19 test both at home and at embarkation. They will then be required to undergo frequent testing, temperature checks and health screenings. Where needed, crew will be provided with Personal Protective Equipment.
Crystal Cruises provides state-of-the-art medical facilities onboard each ship, with equipment including medication, ventilators and virus testing, as well as a 24/7 team of nurses and doctors. Should the need arise, there are also isolation wards on each ship.
To keep guests safe when heading ashore, Crystal Cruises will only visit ports of call that are safe to enter, and guests will have to participate in Crystal-led shore excursions. The group sizes on these activities will be reduced to facilitate social distancing and guests will be provided with Personal Protective Equipment.
