Venice is one of the most important and poplular holiday destinations in the world. Since the 18th centure Venice has been known for its beautiful cityscapes and uniqueness in it's rich musical and artistic cultural heritage. Going out was very good. Coming back a bit more chaotic, but not unexpected
We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise which was our first one. We were impressed by MSC Lirica and all the staff. The places visited were great but there were too many Cruise ships in the bay for Santorini a d there wasn't enough time to reach the top.

Located in the Venetian lagoon, Giudecca Island is a small, attractive resort offering some lovely cafes, bars, and restaurants as well as pretty architecture. Over the years it has had a varied history, having been the home to some grand palaces and gardens, before becoming a centre of industry in the 20th century, particularly during World War II.
