Azamara Cruises dining offers the fantastic cuisine that you could expect from a 5-star cruise line, with the added bonus of being in an informal, club atmosphere more akin to a country manor than a cruise liner. The cuisine on offer gives the perfect balance of the typical cruise line dining room, casual venues and, of course, specialty dining thanks to the steakhouse Prime C.
Where Azamara Cruises stand out is in the fact that you can eat in the main restaurant in your favourite chinos, as opposed to digging out your dinner suit. In addition, if you are staying in a suite, the specialty restaurants are included in the cruise fare while for everyone else there is a small cover charge.
Whether you fancy a gastronomic treat or a hamburger hot off the grill, there is plenty of choice onboard these luxurious, yet informal ships.
Azamara Cruises also have a couple of fantastic specialty restaurants, available for a small cover charge, offering more variety to your dining options.
Enjoy an evening in the showcase theatre with one of the Azamara Cruises Cabaret shows. Relax into the soft, comfortable seating and take advantage of the cocktail service while you marvel at the onstage entertainment.
The lounges and bars onboard Azamara Cruises' ships offer an elegant setting to enjoy fine wines or classic cocktails. Take in the relaxing ambience and live music that the great venues have to offer.
For those who believe in Lady Luck the Luxe Casino is the venue for you. Set in sophisticated decor to create an atmosphere to match, the casino has all your favourite games, from blackjack to roulette. So why not try your hand and see if it's your turn to hit the jackpot?
During the onboard art auction you can enjoy a glass of champagne while you add to your art collection, or start a new one, with stunning art throughout the ship and pieces from the likes of Chagall, Dali and Lichtenstein all on display.
Committed to providing guests with an enriching and immersive experience, Azamara Cruises’ itineraries are packed with overnight stays and late nights in port, as well as visits to small ports that are inaccessible to big ships and even dedicated Formula 1 cruises.
A holiday with Azamara Cruises is ideal for a honeymoon or anniversary, a luxury cruise treat, or for those interested in discovering unusual and fascinating cruise destinations. You can enjoy a fly and cruise holiday to the Caribbean, Asia, the Panama Canal, Hawaii and South America with Azamara Cruises. Alternatively, try an Alaska cruise and visit one of the world’s most stunning destinations, filled with wildlife and gold rush charm or, for the Formula 1 fans, there is now a Monaco F1 Grand Prix cruise!

The Fitness Centre on Azamara Cruises' ships offers everything you need to burn off the fabulous food and delightful cocktails. There is a great choice of fitness classes, qualified personal trainers and state-of-the-art equipment all onboard. Regardless of your level, there is everything from aerobics to spinning to get your heart racing, or yoga and Pilates to work on your flexibility and core strength.
Azamara Cruises prefer to take a more immersive attitude to shore excursions. Offering special insights into the culture, history, wildlife, and geology of each destination visited, Azamara will ease away your cares whilst giving you cultural food for thought. Every cruise also includes one AzAmazing shore excursion as part of the cruise fare. This could be ballet in St. Petersburg or enjoying dinner while perched on a 350-foot-high cliff overlooking the Amalfi coast.
While muster drills are a completely necessary part of cruising, they aren't the most exciting aspect of your holiday. However, thanks to Royal Caribbean Group's Muster 2.0, you'll no longer have to leave your stateroom to take part in the briefing. With all the information you need available on an app or on your TV, there's no easier way to get to grips with the emergency procedures.
With four different types of suites to choose from, all going above and beyond when it comes to providing the ultimate luxury, you're sure to find one which is exactly to your taste:
Those who cruise regularly with Azamara Cruises should consider joining their loyalty programme, Azamara Circle Loyal Program, where members receive a range of fantastic advantages, from priority check-in to discounts on spa treatments.
Serving staff were very efficient and overall it was a comfortable experience but lacked any wow factor. The basics were however good. Shore excursions were overpriced and poorly run - guides (with one exception) did not use Vox so impossible to hear what they were saying unless you spoke one-to-one with them.
We have been on Azamara before and like the informal but good cruise experience. On this occasion the current situation meant that we wondered how it would all work with restrictions. However Azamara Journey and its crew made us feel safe and the service was excellent. The ship was very quiet due to low numbers but this was good for the passengers, not so good for the Azamara business I am sure. It felt almost like normal life, except for the masks so it exceeded our expectations
Only one complaint that they did not offer any transport for passengers to explore ports on their own. Many of the passengers were senior citizens and the walk to reach nearest town to port was too hard and also I travelled with a members of my family who definitely could not walk more than a few hundred yards. Even if there was a small charge to get us into nearest town to port that would be acceptable
Due to less than half the amount of passengers it seemed to lack the normal sparkle and buzz. It seemed pretty safe and people generally played the game. Entertainment was not end to end with gaps. But we felt it was a good holiday and worth doing all the paperwork! It's nice to be back after nearly 2 years - hopefully more to come.
