Very nice food in MDRs excellent service and very good opening hours

Had a lovely cruise the food and crew were all great but there is a but we had paid for the more at sea package to cover drinks ect but once on board we were told every drink purchased would be subject to a 10% tax this had been implemented by the spannish government we ended up having a 198 dollar balance because of this we think the cruise line should have absorbed this extra cost Not good enough NCL

The flight and transfer were included in our package and were well organised when we landed into Barcelona. Boarding was painless and we were on within 20 minutes of arriving at the port. Our room on deck 5 was really nice- modern style and a very comfortable bed. Well located too for bars and amenities. We didn’t like the top deck- the pool area layout is poor and creates bottlenecks - hot tubs were few and far between and people stayed in them for hours- literally 2-3 hours at a time! On a 10 day holiday, we got to use them once!! The food was quite average and not as good as previous NCL cruises we’ve done. Staff were excellent in all areas of the boat (bars, restaurants , entertainment, housekeeping etc) they work so hard to make sure your holiday is good. For us the best part of the holiday was the itinerary- it was jam packed with ports and exactly what we wanted to get some sun and see lots of places. I think going forward we’ll probably stick to smaller ships- they do lack the shiny stuff like water slides and race tracks etc. but they are on the whole better for food and that’s important for us. I would recommend this cruise to anyone wanting to do a lot of ports in their 10 day holiday- for that it was 100% worth it.

We had a suite in the Haven which is very special and the service is exceptional. There is a private lounge, sun deck and restaurant. EVERYTHING is priority. There is no loud compulsory music and there is a tranquil atmosphere. The rest of the ship is far too loud and very packed, and the massive casino is the focal point of most of one deck. The staff throughout are magnificent and welcoming. Ports of call and excursions are of course itinerary dependant, but all excursions are very expensive.

This was our first experience of NCL, it won’t be our last! A fabulous cruise, our suite was beautiful. Entertainment on board was superb but the biggest joy was the itinerary, it was outstanding. A lovely holiday with great service, lovely food and an incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. We look forward to cruising with NCL in the future.

Went on cruise to celebrate my 80th birthday. From the flights to embarkation everything was absolutely no problem. Staff on board were excellent. Entertainment was first class. Speciality restaurants were superb especially the Tepenyaki. Wouldn't hesitate to book again with NCL.

My friend and I go away on at least two cruises every year, this year we decided to go on Norwegian Breakaway and absolutely loved it, spotlessly clean, modern public areas, the garden cafe is the best we have experienced fantastic food for all tastes, did not see one left dirty table, we dined in most of the restaurants including three speciality, the best by far was Cagneys we ate there twice, the food was absolutely amazing the staff were great very attentive and obliging the atmosphere was calm and most enjoyable, one staff member was Mark the waiter, he is a credit to Norwegian lovely person naturally natural, no false forced smile , an all round nice guy who went the extra mile to make the meal special,excursions were carried out with military precision, only one niggle not enough live theatre shows, but every thing else was faultless,the wonderful itinary we loved them all, we chose a late check out which was great and at $49 each that included lunch and drinks was great value as our flight home wasn’t until 10 pm and went on to book a hotel near the airport just for a few hours we will definitely be back and look forward to our next Norwegian cruise, a big thankyou to all the great people who work so hard to make our stay a good and memorable one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Each time we return from NCL there is always an issue with the final payment . they have charged us the correct amount but then another amount which is completely nothing to do with our cruise account!so we now have to go through the process of submitting a post cruise form and wait for there response 😡£645 pounds made up !😡

As always we enjoy our cruise with NCL. However the ship looked a little tired. Restaurants as usual were excellent. Shows were great although last years were that bit more special. Sailing from Barca incurred a 10% tax on all drinks which I thought applied when in Barca but it was for the whole 9 day cruise which included France and Italy.
